Hello All,

Been a while since I've started at hread but I 've been thinking about something for the last couple of weeks. It's a strange idea, and a least a little diconcerting to say the least also.

The first few weeks we've been playing, we've eeked out 2 games and lost 2 games by just a bit.

There have been complaints about our conservative playcalling all this time. It's like we haven't opened up until we have absolutely HAD to. (late in games).

We've all been a bit frustrated by the fact that we have seemed to started off slow in each game. played it close to the vest and played not to lose.

As a result, we came out with 2 wins and 2 losses. All real close.

Now during this time, I have persoally wondered if we intentionnally held things back these first 4 weeks in order to keep the element of surprise against our biggest threats...the Eagles.

Now from an actual coaching standpoint, ths is just flat out absolutety crazy. We only have 16 games and EVERY one matters. But at the same time I couldn't help but think these crazy thoughts over the last few weeks.

It was like "C'mon Go !!! just GO!!! PLAY!!!! but we held back and just sort of played at 3/4 speed.

From a crazy paranoid standpoint, it seemed like we we playing like we didn't want to show all our cards yet.

This week we the really played! and we beat the friggen hell out of em.

Is it insane to think that?

This week aginst the Eagles, we played like we should have been playing all season. It's like we were laying a trap (which cost us 2 games)

Am I alone in seeing this bizarre philoshopy?

Anyway... awesome friggin game today.

You might be on to something there. :cunning: Or, it could be that BP didn't have a good feel for the offense until after the first four games. Or, BP finally started taking the advise of the Zone!!!

Actually, Larry Allen busted Bill Parcells' office door down by slamming his foot through it, and threatened to fart on Bill Parcells if he didn't start calling a more aggressive game
