This is my biggest worry. A lot hinges on Elam, Carson, Bland, Thomas etcetera.

My question is, what if it doesn't work out? Is there another plan?

I'm 80 percent sure they'll sign Gilmore, which I think is a good idea.

Bland in the slot. But what if Bland gets injured or Elam? It's bound to happen.

We'd be fine if we were healthy, but we're not. An injury or two and we could be in real trouble to start the season.

Cowboys should be good at S. However an injury at CB is different. Then it's just start making your way down the depth chart.

Sign Gilly, Booth, Butler, Goodwin, Hall, Revel, Oruwariye.......

Interested in hearing why you don't think Gilly is a good idea??? To me the age issue is a major factor, but is he probably the best person out there right now, most likely

which we'll end up putting Revel out there too early when he's not ready

I think I may be the only one around here who isn’t worried about corner.

Maybe because Bland should be solid, or because I think Carson could be something, Revel as well.

Maybe because Im not worried about making the bed when the house is on fire.

I mean we can do this with every position….what if Micah gets hurt or Dak or Lamb? All you can do is go next man up. Pass rush does their job then our corners shouldn’t be a problem.

I mean I feel similar but at 0-0 it’s tough to tell if the house is on fire. Everyone looks great in shorts.

I did not believe he's still here..Oruwariye.... Could be wrong but I remember I heard he signed somewhere else unless I'm thinking about a different guy I called him AO..

But I have heard some good flashes about Hall coming out of early OTA which doesn't mean a whole lot but he might be this year's version of Butler but Butler's also coming off an injury..

Do not just rule out a safety becoming the full time nickel.

He’s a Titan.

I agree in many cases that has to happen, but corners already injured.. they're already starting missing key players they can't afford to go next man up that deep or the D is in big trouble..

This is the single weakest and biggest question mark on the team is corner in my opinion people are talking about go get Nick Chubb and blah blah blah we need to do something with the tackles no this would be the position you should worry about...

Butler and Diggs coming off major injuries Revel a rookie also coming off major injury, heck car son had his shoulder worked on this offseason..

This is absolutely a major concern...

The house is on fire for two reasons….Jerry is still around, and anyone can see the run defense isn’t good enough, which will inevitably be the downfall of the season…per usual….which I don’t expect to change because it’s clearly an organizational philosophy that stopping the run isn’t important.

They been working Thomas in the slot in OTA's some. And Mukuamu as well.
I think we will see different combinations, to get the best one there.

Of course it depends where they line up Bland, based on who is healthy.
Elam has had a very good OTA's, in all 3 of them. Revel is supposed to be ready for TC. So he can be a factor as well.

Gilmore is a progress stopper at this point. But is an option to bring in during TC. I would not rule it out. But I think they will go into TC with who they have for now.

I don't know if you know this but just because they're still show them you can pull them up on the roster you can do that with players that are long gone he is no longer a cowboy he's a Tennessee Titan...

real depth charts, at least mostly ciurrent

No what he's called his insurance...

I mean it literally is a short handed room to be in right now , too many??????

You need something to fall back on there was somebody else people were talking about named Hilton...

I don't know who that is but a veteran is necessary to stabilize this room, so I don't call it a stopper because maybe you don't start him, maybe you bring him in and have him play nickel ,and then if there's a problem someone's getting toasted or an injury, then you move him outside and play him every snap until Butler and Diggs return, but we need insurance this is the one position on the team with the biggest question mark in my opinion there's too many injuries across all of them...
