Stroll down memory lane from 2018

It was just two short years ago our top WR corps heading into the 2018 season was:

Hurns
Beasley
Williams

LOL.

They made quick work of going from one of the worst WR corps to one of the best.

Stunning to think that we entered a season with that receiving corps. And it reflected in the results.

Now if only we could see a similar turnaround in the defensive front 7.

I am amazed at the difference and your right lets hope this years defense will get ti done.gerald can have a ressurgent year as can Poe. Dlaw perhaps can live up to his contract and maybe we can get 11 sacks out of the Re end again but this time be better against the run

It took 2 first rounders and around $150M worth of contractual commitments to do it. Plus, the new kid still has to prove it under the big lights. But, yeah, huge difference.

I think the complete overhaul of the secondary in one off-season in 2017 was pretty impressive too. Not the same degree of turn-around. But not the same resources spent either.

Would be great if we could manage something similar with the D-line one of these years.

That WR by committee was a terrible idea. Was that a Garrett and Linehan idea? Good grief. And they even tried to sell us on that too.

Agreed. I was at the Panthers game in week 1 of 2018, and it was even more miserable to watch in person.

"Dak friendly" was just more of Stephen Jones vomiting at the words. He's such an idiot.

2018 week 1 at Carolina

Starters: Deontae Thompson, Terrance Williams
Reserves: Cole Beasley, Tavon Austin, Michael Gallup, Allen Hurns

~Fin shivers~

Wasn't it Allen Hurns? lol
To be fair, Dallas had tried to sign Sammy Watkins during free agency and he opted to become a Chief.

"WR by committee" was never something the Cowboys wanted, it's just how things turned out and led to trading for Amari Cooper.
