Strong winds are expected for the Giants-Bucs game Sunday.

Giants Stadium is often home to windy conditions, and there are reports the winds could top 40 MPH Sunday. If it happens, this won't help the passing games for either team. The Bucs should be avoided if possible and Amani Toomer is a questionable start. We'd have a hard time benching Eli or Plaxico except on loaded teams.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Chris Simms (spleen) received a second opinion from a doctor Friday, Oct. 27. He was told he would be able to play in the final one or two games, at best. The second opinion could land Simms on Injured Reserve, ending his 2006 season.
