We have our interior lineman to go along with the Sapp type in Ferguson...IMO he may even be better than what Tampa ever had next to Sapp,,,Booger McFarland included...If you remember when the Jets had pressure outside with Ellis and Abraham Fergy was blowing up the middle..I think he got to 4.5 sacks one year....had alot of pressure
We have our other end in Ellis...dont forget Hatcher here..he will be a good end in the 4-3...will create alot of pressure...may even take some snaps from ellis...
What we dont have...we dont have a Sapp yet...Canty, Spears, and or Ratliff would have to step up and take this place...can they? thats the main question in this scenario..it all depends on how good they get over the summer and how they are used during the year..IMO they all get a shot...but hey there is always the draft and F/A
Derrick Brooks...I have your derrick brooks and his name aint bradie..his name is Roy Williams...he will be our weak side linebacker in this defense...as long as we get that Sapp type at DT Roy will be free to roam because you know the other guys will create pressure...
Al S- we have our Al S because we have Al S...no seriously I think that Akin will play LOLB and do it well IMO...Carpenter can play the middle and I think he will do a great job...he is only going to get better...he can run with anyone and can take on blockers no problem due to his size...his intelligence will increase...he could be a sleeper...IMO our linebackers could be better than what Tampa had....Quarles, Singleton and Brooks...we can do better! they were good due to their line...like I said get a Sapp type of DT and you are in business here..

Lynch - here is where you may not agree but I think that Henry can be that type of guy for us...he definitely can tackle pretty good thats for sure...can cover where needed also....I think they should put Henry at SS IMO if Watkins can take care of the FS position...if not you will need to get one....and dont forget CB...there are a few questions with this 4-3 but only a few...like Deion said we are only two players away....get a corner, find out who can play DT, find out who is going to man the safety spots and you are in business....its not like we dont have the depth right now even before F/A and the draft to make it through the season pretty good...oh and as for Bradie....HE IS OUT! HE CANT PLAY IN THE 4-3...USE HIM AS A BACKUP FOR NOW AND THEN DUMP HIM AT THE END OF THE SEASON...FIND OUT ABOUT BURNETT TOO...HE COULD BE A FACTOR ON THE NICKEL...
