I think four qb's and five OT's will go before Dallas picks, Young, Okudah, Simmons, Ruggs, Lamb, Brown, Henderson :)-() will all go before Dallas picks which will leave Kinlaw, Jeudy, and Chaisson to choose from:

1.Javon Kinlaw dt-To me there is no position with less depth in this draft than defensive tackle and also the Dallas roster so this is an easy decision given Kinlaw would be top 12 on my board. Like the other two plenty but this one marries need with board.

2.Jaylon Johnson, cb-I think Johnson is one of the most underrated players in this draft. In my opinion he borders along the first round as few have his size/speed combo.

3.Van Jefferson, wr-Great route runner, can play inside and out. Perfect #3 with #2 upside.

4.Jonathan Garvin, Edge-Physical talent is evident, I think Tomsula can turn him into a useful role player and maybe more.

5.Kenny Robinson JR, S-Ideally you take this guy in round six, but you won't find a safety with more talent in the mid rounds in this draft. The unknown of skipping out on college is the one thing holding him back.

5.Reggie Robinson II, cb-Robinson twins in the fifth. Upside, upside, upside. 6'1 205lbs 4.44 speed.

7.Dalton Keene, TE-I think he could challenge for a roster spot and become a solid special teamer while improving his route running.

Fills two key spots Johnson and Jerfferson.. Garvin is a possible pass rusher down the road and Keene is an interesting prospect at TE.

Reggie Robinson II is trending up, 3rd or 4th round projection now

I like your enthusiasm OP, but I must have seen 50 mocks since mid February and not one has Jeudy falling. He looks to be the first receiver off the board and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him fall past 15.

Four QB’s off the board is a definite possibility.

So of the 50 mocks that I have seen, these players were gone in 50 of 50:
  • QBs: Burrow, Tua, Herbert
  • WRs: Jeudy
  • OTs: Wirfs, Willis Becton, Thomas
  • DEs: Young
  • STs: Brown,
  • LBs: Simmons
  • CBs: Okudah
That’s 12 of 17. After those 12, Chaisson and Lamb are also almost always gone, Lamb doesn’t usually make it last Denver and Chaisson past Atlanta.

The players left who I have seen slotted to Dallas are: Ruggs, Kinlaw, and Henderson, then to a lesser degree Diggs, Fulton, Love, McKinley and Delpit.

Some of those players that you listed, I haven’t seen them in the first round in any mocks. I’m not saying that they won’t be taken, just that no one else is projecting them that high. Based on that, most of them you could get in the second round.

So if the Cowboys don’t pick Ruggs, Henderson or Kinlaw, if it’s a surprise, I think the surprise would be Denzel Mims. That kid is the next T.O. and teams are going to regret passing on him.

I like the draft...disagree on the assessment that this DT class is thin though. I see plenty of depth at that position beyond Brown/Kinlaw.

I don’t like much after the first two, Madiubuike, Davidson, Blacklock (somewhat) in rd 2 and Jordan Elliott, Raekwon Davis in round three. Outside of that it’s a very ordinary group with little depth.

I think Jeudy is the most likely to fall of the big three because there are whispers about his enthusiasm for football. Personally he would he my top choice but that’s based solely on talent.
