Studs Dak, Cowboys run game, Shultz, Wilson, Diggs, kearse, osa, parsons, Gregory.

Steele looks very good. Sets quick, moves forward fast can get to the second level on runs and screens and is very active. Might get beat once and a while but had been very good, very sound, finishes blocks and so far no penalties that I’ve seen which is a major plus. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again would love to see him stick there and put Collins back at LG and watch this team dominate the line of scrimmage.

Shultz really has grown on me. I’m a big Jarwin fan and still love his big play ability and run after the catch but Shultz is a player. Great problem to have with all the offensive options.

Duds McCarthy, Connor Williams and Jaylon Smith. These two guys are the weakest links on each side of the ball.

MM needs to wake up! He is really bad and will eventually cost us a game or two same as Garrett used to and that game or two always adds up to not making the playoffs or with seeding. Also I know we got the td on 4th and 2 but smart play is to kick the FG and make it a 3 score game.

Connor had a bunch of penalties yet again and got beat a bunch of times yet again. Again if Steele could man the rt I’d love to see Connor replaced with Collins.

Jaylon just can’t read anything and gets caught out of position all the time and when he does actually read the play correctly can’t get to the spot. Looks like a slow DE trying to get to the point he needs to. Neal was missed last night and it showed especially in the passing game. TEs and running backs were wide open all day. I would love to see LVE and Neal as our top 2 LBers and see Cox get some passing down reps.

If Steele has 5 strong games it does make me wonder what they will do when suspension is up.
I am not in favor of moving LC to G. He has trimmed down which has always been key to him playing well at RT.
Maybe the just sit him and send a message.
 
Steele is at home at RT. He’s the new swing and the future RT.

Good coaching proves you don’t have to have a 1st round pick on the Oline at every position
 
Kicking the fg wasn’t the smart play. It also wouldn’t have been a 3 score game. Fg takes it to 16- that’s two full scores.
 
Our Center was a dud. Hopefully he starts to put on more strength to help anchor that center line. I rather get holding penalties from Connor then have our Center get Dak's legs broken by being pushed back into him. Hopefully when Collin returns we can throw him in the mix.

pretty much agree with the list. I would add Biadasz to the duds list.

I agree, MM should be better at clock management. end of the half was pretty bad. at least give the team a chance to score....perhaps he saw we are dominating and just wanted to go in....

Zeurline missed another point after....

Jaylon is just slow at this point. Hurts out ran him a couple of times.....

I am not and never been a big fan of Jarwin....

I have been watching him every game. he gets bull rushed on pass blocking and I think its a combination of lack of strength and he stands up too tall too soon and loses leverage (bad technique).

Jaylon is not playing as bad as people think. The untrained eye only sees bad plays and great plays. He's much better under Quinn than he has been. I get it, it's hard to escape the microscope once you've been under it. Some fans hate Jaylon, just like some hate Dak, Zeke etc.....

It was what made Travis Frederick so good.

He wasn’t the best athlete but you couldn’t budge him.

Losing Travis Frederick is a shame. Imagine if we had him right now..

I am with you. I was watching the game last night with my boys and mentioned the same thing. I miss fredrick.

Well....that's not the worst thing in the world. I'm pretty sure Hurts can outrun many linebackers. Now if it was Matt Ryan beating him to the corner, then we have a very big problem. I do see your point however.
 
Studs:
  • Dak Prescott, he's in full control
  • Parsons, nothing more needs to be said
  • Zack Martin, he is the run game
  • Zeke/Pollard Combo was fire
  • Diggs, gonna be a pro-bowler
  • Odigi has been brilliant and consistently disruptive
  • Kearse/Kazee, both a hugely outplaying their contract and are a fantastic safety partnership
Duds:
  • Jaylon and Vander Esch, both are as bad as each other and every time they are on the field together I prey our opponents don't run it up the middle. Both are pretty decent covering the sidelines though.
  • Connor Williams, he just can't handle a powerful pass rushing DT
  • Tyler Biadasz, flat out sucks in pass protection but at least he's passable in the run game
  • Our ability to cover TE's, there are certain plays where I feel Mukumau and three safety looks might be worth trying. Too often we are blowing zone coverage of TE's underneath
  • All the DT's not named Odigi, none of them appear any good to me. Maybe Watkins and Gallimore can give things a boost when they return

Jaylon actually had a decent game. But trying to convince the haters on here is a moot point. I will have better odds of winning the lotto. So I think I will go buy a lotto ticket later.
I will use that time wisely to do so, instead of posting about it.

Yeah two tds and two 2 point conversions just to tie. What happens if they score a long td drive then get the ball back with a chance to win the game on a td?

It’s mind boggling that he didn’t get snaps at center in training camp.

McGovern played center for a season at Penn State.

McGovern is a talented guy. More talented than Biadasz in a lot of ways.

I don’t get it. Tbh
