Study Break: Final Mock

We have yet to draft a safety that grades out as a borderline 1st/2nd rounder. Every guy we've drafted is a hope and pray type player, like AOA.

I think Rahim Moore could start day 1. We passed on guys like Nate Allen, Morgan Burnett, etc. when we all knew that we should have taken a shot. Rahim Moore gives us an opportunity to right that wrong, plus, he wants to play here.

I still think teams will not take Ras-I Dowling that high. Maybe a 2nd rounder if he didn't pull up lame at the combine...but I find it amazing that he pulled up and still ran a 4.4-40.

We'll see, but I hope you're wrong ;)

On the Ras deal he was projected 1st rounder going into his Sr. year and beacuase of injuries he has slid. The NFL doesn't worry about minor injuries he suffered, only major one's such as micro-fracture, etc. He and others are no different then Sam Bradford last year when he missed almost his entire Sr. year. If they have talent they will call. Especially with DB's.

I can definitely agree with that assessment. Someone is going to be very happy with Dowling.

I think Deunta Williams is more of a SS.

I think we go after him if Sensabaugh doesn't re-sign. Otherwise I think we look to fix Alan Ball's spot and I think Dallas will hope a little more for AOA to come around.

i agree
this is why i hope we get him in the draft as our SS/FS
and sign huff

huff+will >> sensi+moore IMO

and better value

and huff already knows RRs scheme

win, win, and win
