What did you learn when you were first out on your own? When I was in my first college apartment, my roommate and I wanted to start out the college semester right, so we went to the store and bought all the brooms, mops, and cleaning products we needed. We took them home and put them in a special closet ... and forgot about them.

So here's what I learned: If you buy cleaning supplies, but don't use them, your place gets really dirty. Who knew?

Don't date women who might take you 2 out of 3 pinfalls. Those Amazon's don't like breakups.

Everything. I learned that becoming an adult meant I knew nothing and my journey into learning everything I needed to know began after I graduated college and started out on my own.
