Stupid LG and Google

Also less wear and tear on your charge port in your phone as I have had an iphone, two samsungs and people at work with other brand phones whose charging ports on the phone get loose after a period of time for various reasons.

The current phone I have has a loose one. That was another reason I was looking at wireless charging if my port goes bad. I might just get the case and the wireless pad if it comes down to the port going bad.

Agree. I've had to change my mini USB cable I use in my car 3 times now so my phone would keep charging. I hate that, but then a wireless charger doesn't really work in my car until someone invents a phone holder that doubles as a wireless charging pad. (that would be awesome!)

It takes more than a half a second (more like 3 seconds) and when I'm at work, it saves that 3 seconds 20-25 times a day. I never have to hunt for the cable on the ground. USB-C on the new phone takes care of the examining which way the plug is, but still. If you don't have wireless or USB-C that's a pain in the *** too.

It works the same way an automatic transmission works. There is less to do. Less to do makes the job easier. If you can't see that, I've got some ocean front property Arizona to sell you.
Fumbling for the cord? Examining which way the plug goes? Hunting for the cable? How inept at plugging something in are you? lol

Idk why you would have to charge your phone 20x a day, seems like you've got a battery problem, but even if it takes you 3 seconds, you're talking about saving like a minute lol.

Wireless charging on a pad is technology for the sake of technology. It doesn't really change anything in terms of productivity or how people go about their day.

Whatever dude. The door to this thread is that away.

I'm not knocking it. Whatever floats your boat. I just find it ironic that the 'wireless' pad has a wire.
