Stupid snow again

Got the e-mail saying go home. They cancelled work and told everyone to go home at 1:00 pm Let it snow, baby. 8-12 inches predicted tonight. If so, no work tomorrow either.

Although, I really like my job and don't mind going to work. And I live only 2 miles from where I work. I did bring some paperwork home to study just in case they close the base.

Thats okay. Next summer when it's sunny and 72 here and 105 there I will be the one laughing.

So will I. Daily as I swim in the pool and enjoy ice water or lemonade.

So far I have had snow falls of 17", 8", 15", 4", and now it appears we will get 6"-10" more inches tonight

I freaking hate snow with a passion.

Just an update. They where wrong. We ended up with 17" of snow. It wasn't light and fluffy snow either. It was dense and very heavy. It usually takes me about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to shovel my entire driveway and the walkway to my front door. I only did the drive way and it took almost 3 hours. :/

They are saying more snow next Tuesday too. :cry:

66 here yesterday, 72 forecast for today which would break our record high of 69. Very unusual warmth for Kansas in January. Sunday it goes to crap with snow forecasted for Monday and Tuesday.

I don't have a place to dump the snow I'm shoveling. My drive way is a 5 foot canyon of snow right now. In the middle of the yard where it is only snow fall, it's almost 3 feet deep. The base of the driveway where the plows come through, the mounds of snow are over 7 feet tall. :bang2:

Here in Houston we are going to have some global warming today and over the weekend with Global Cooling taking place next week as the artic front gets here. :laugh2:

Went out and dusted off my tiller so I can prepare the garden area for Mama Sue to do her thing, charging up the lawn mower battery.
The Bluebonnets are all ready coming up.
What we need is rain,my tanks are so down I can see the fish getting sunburned.
