Play 2 - I think the best decision would be take a step up in the pocket and dump the ball off to the RB or to Witten for at least an easy 7 or 8 and very possibly a first down.

I can't agree with Sturm's analysis in a lot of this (not so much the plays outlined, except the one I mention), but phrases like "Prescott has engineered five straight," or "Romo, vs. this Eagles blitz, may not last until halftime, physically" leave a lot to be desired. Dak isn't the one engineering things with this offense, and Romo would have eaten the Eagles and that blitz up (which is why they wouldn't have done it so much).

Romo would have also been killed by the blitz.

The trouble is that over time those that don't want to read a constant barrage of 4 letters are going to leave, and the result is a forum with basically one type of poster which greatly cuts down on getting a variety of takes concerning a topic.
Are you freaking kidding me! You *******, go jump in the lake you sack of *********. Bleep you!

Lol lol lol Mr. Winicki I couldn't resist lol I thought I was on the Eagles board. :lmao2::lmao:

They don't even talk to each other, every thread has 1 or 2 posts which are mostly cuss filled rants.

Gotta say, it was pretty funny listening to them whine about every bleeping thing. lol

The blitz has always been our achilles heal. it would rattle Romo. sure he scrambled and tried to extend plays but it was always risky.

Because most people realize that the last game he played is not indicative of his career. But please keep on with your agenda. We need more of that!
Romo's dad was a military boxer and he taught his kids well. Sometimes I wish Romo would get one these disrespectful loudmouths in the back allyway.
Then again, sometimes I want to volunteer to do it for him.

Reading this article made me realize that at least a couple of those "bad" throws were him actually making a good decision with the ball.

And what the hell was with our dudes running into each other multiple times while running their routes?

LOL see the Washgton game that we lost in 2014.

Yes Romo would have been killed.

Because Washington is the only team that ever blitzed? It's funny, I don't recall any Philly blitzers coming free right up the middle.

Say all you want about Romo. I love him to death and he is one of my favorite players. Eagles would have killed him with the blitz.

Pre injury Romo was one of the best against the blitz, post injuries he was really bad and the skins were the first to figure it out.My only issue right now is Dak is not making the throws that Romo routinely makes where he places the ball perfectly and leads the WRs.He is still a Rookie and thats why i want Romo back to see if he still has it.

I'd love to see them try (with this team). Romo has survived the blitz many times. He will survive it many more.
