Always look forward to reading, thanks.

After having success on 1st and 2nd down throwing the ball via Play Action last week, where the heck did that go? Its so utterly predictable that is comical, especially if you have a decent day on the ground?

They only ran 51 plays vs. 81 to Green Bay and you can see why the defense was gassed come the 4th qrt.

Green Bay's defense was well called most of the day. Show shotgun and they brought the blitz. Show under center and they sat on the run. Don Capers had to have had his easiest game plan ever last week. He probably actually let one of the interns do it.

The O-line better perform well. We devoted all our resources to that group because people were whining "Yeah but if we had an O-line..." Seahawks have elite running and QB play behind the worst O-line in football. And what has the best O-line in football gotten us these past two years? 14 missed games by Romo due to brutal sacks. But hey, we can spend another top 10 pick to shore up that RT spot.

Lol, the sacks that injured Romo were not on the O-line.

Just a theory I was thinking about as I looked at runs where the offensive line looked pretty salty still. Maybe the style of the Cowboys is just fine. They simply are missing the one spot you cannot be without.
It does make a difference when defenses know you can't pass -- not just in the final score, but also with your rushing numbers. If you break short yardage down and look at the plays that were actually run, Dallas runs 77% of the time on its short-yardage plays without Romo. No other team is as high as 70% for the season.

And can we please, just once spread out on third and short and get a run pass option out of that formation rather than constantly shoving the 22 down our throats. I mean doesn't it make spacial sense that the less players in the box the more room there is to run?

Let the RB's try and make a play instead of running into two linebackers and a safety stacked at the point of attack and we still take advantage of the line still getting on their blocks

God I'm gonna lose my mind in the neglect of simplicity.

Yep. Like Mr. Sturm pointed out, going 5-5 in those situations is highly unlikely. Changing it up would be smart.

You mean there is hope and we do not need to cut the entire team? I am confused.
