Seems to me Dallas for years, had an issue with blitzing. Never seem to get there quick enough on a regular basis to get the results they wanted.

So, defense bad, offense good, that right?

Thanks for that stunning insight.

Maybe Jerry will watch the movie All the Right Moves and we will switch to the 6-2 Stack Monster defense they use in that flick. He can get Craig T. Nelson to coach it.

So often there are posters that are ready to pounce on people that are critical of this outfit....but for many of us...this organization has not passed the "eye test" for a long time. And little by little, articles, stats etc....are being revealed, written etc.....that validate what has been a complete train wreck. And the truth of the matter...this has been building for a long time. And yet this owner/gm/coach and many of the posters/fans on this forum make excuse after excuse for all the little things that "don't matter".....and those "little things" are adding up to "historically worst" performances in many different categories. Does that mean should not watch? Of course not! Does that mean they should just skip the season? Of course not! Does it mean that anything WE say on this forum will make a difference? Of course not! Everyone here is entitled to their opinion. That is why we all spend time on this board. To share opinions. But some of you here better spend less time feeling good about having the most valuable franchise in the NFL...the biggest stadium....the biggest scoreboard....the prettiest cheerleaders....the prime time television appearances....and recognize the "smoke and mirrors" effect this having on the reality of this organization. It is nice to have all of this statistical data to validate what I see....but none of this is a surprise to me. We lose games in unimaginable ways.....it is almost expected at this point. And this team has a built in scapegoat for EVERYTHING it seems...in Tony Romo.....but the architect of this franchise is the #1 issues with this team...and his fingerprints are on EVERYTHING...truth be told...Romo is probably the sole reason Jerry Jones has not been admitted into an insane asylum. He is not convinced....and there is no one in this organization that can convince him...that he is in over his head running a football organization. So until then...we have to continue to hope we will stumble into winning something....in SPITE of him. He wants to be validated as a "football man" desperately. And he has never been able to grasp that if we ever win while he is in charge...it will be viewed as "a clock is right at least twice a day" The book has been written...the ship has sailed....he will never get what he craves...and we will just have to suffer as he flaps around like a fish on a dock.

Good point, but I seem to recall seeing most blitzers when called upon getting stone-walled a lot easier than you'd like to see.

I'm not 100% on that, I admit- my memory's as Fuzzy as your Lumpkins and you may be able to correct me on that, but I believe I witnessed such a conflagration last year.

Or two blitzers meeting @ the same hole (allowing the OL to swallow them as a group). Very poor timing and disguise on the player's part as well.
