He is very stiff,he makes Murray seem Luke Shady. The only silver lining is that he still has the speed and this oline will open up some big holes for him.
I think this sums up well what many of us have believed:

He's not the answer.
Im still in the camp that if he is healthy and gets used he will kill it and ill stick to that until I see him actually be bad on this team.
Looks like Sturm is saying McFadden will be the 3rd down back-- so, maybe he's 1/3 of an answer in regards to replacing Murray?
Maybe, but I thought that's why they're paying Dunbar over $1 million this year? Do we have two third-down options with one starting option in Randle?
I'm on the other side of that fence. I'm in the camp where he has much to prove to me. Starting with being healthy (so far not good). He has to show me that he's capable of being anything other than terrible before I believe it.
Dunbar isn't a blocker. Last guy you want handling that position.
Sturm is guessing..DMC is a great back when healthy....we will see in a little over a month..
Fair enough.
Health is really the only concern I have.
If we can get him into the 2nd level of a defense he'll kill it with his size, power, and speed combo.
What make's Sturm an expert.....He has a radio show...Big deal.....I would lay bet that he has never seem DMC play a full game at Ark..or Oakland..."Guessing"? Is this a joke or sarcasm?

Trust me when I say it, I hope you're right.
I hope the guy takes the #1 role and 'runs' with it and leads the league in rushing.
I just can't trust in him.
He provided plenty of evidence to back up his position. Both in numbers and in visuals. Unlike plenty of other media people who do nothing but talk, Sturm backs up his position.
Sturm's numbers show all of those games that McFadden played in Oakland, and not just some youtube highlights where everybody looks good. And it clearly shows how 'everybody else' did a far better job than McFadden did.
People continuing to make excuses for McFadden don't have a leg to stand on. Sturm's analysis just kicked it out from under them.
