This is a 3-1 team through the first quarter of the season, a young and very talented 3-1 team.

1 game does not define a season, and a tough loss can be a pivotal learning experience, not only
to the players but the coaches as well.

How a team responds coming out of a loss says a lot about how good or bad a team really is.

Im betting this team bounces back vs GB this week on a positive note.

I didn't like a lot of things I saw vs NO either, but Ive seen this same scenario more than a few times, its just the nature of the game.

Good teams find a way to get better and improve on their weaknesses when exposed, and Im betting this team can get much better as this season progresses.

Way too early to be throwing in the towel at this point.

good for u hope it works out differently from the last few years for u I think they are still the same team that played the rams and got run off of the field

I consider the last game an anomaly (on offense). I hope we don't have to see that again.

Our D played great. We need both to play together.

Have we even seen anything from special teams this year? I mean besides a few kicks and fair catches at the 5 yard line?

I believe we will pay exactly like last week when we face GB Sunday. The only difference I can foresee is not giving away the game with turnovers and crucial penalties. Which may be enough to win. If GB stuffs the run can we score through the air attack?

Maybe I'll add butter cups to the game day menu on Sunday!

agree with this thread title 100%. What? ..DID some of ya'll think we wouldn't lose a game this year? lol...We held an extremely talented team to 12 points. WE lost..its over, no excuses. The better team that day won. We turned the ball over more than they did. That's how we lost. We killed drives via fumbles on 2 occasions. Very uncharacteristically. We are a very good team and so we move on and play a Packers team.

We lost a road game by two points to one of the best teams in the NFL.

Therefore, we must forfeit the rest of our games and shut down the franchise.

If a Brees-less Saints team with a 26th ranked defense is one of the best teams in the NFL, were as good as in the SB.

No **** man! I came on here yesterday and showed some coworkers the titles on these threads and they were literally laughing out loud. Sometimes a loss humbles you and wakes you up.

I expect the offense will be less "2018" and more like what we've seen in 2019.

In other words less "We have to run it on 1st down come hell or highwater".

In addition there will be more RPO and play action.

^^^this^^^. True. We was never gonna go 16-0 guys lol. Losses happen. You get better, move on.

Hopefully Jerry figures out that Garrett forced his old garbage script on Kellen and stops that mess from reoccurring...

A little slow on the uptake eh? You could have posted your ideas in any of the two dozen other similar threads that were around as early as Sunday night. Yet, you wait until Wednesday to say what's already been said hundreds of times. I like your incognizance! Keep it up trooper .

If defensive rankings meant anything after three games, I would be worried. The Saints DL played extremely well, there aren't 25 other DL units that are better.

I’m going to need an official list of ‘towel thrower’ names, because I haven’t seen any.

Not even close. Saints DLine at this point is in the top 10 convo, esp if Davenport pans out and can stay on the field.
