I know, right?

I would understand if Suh had been dominant against way worse OLs in Dallas the last few years. Well, he was not a substantial factor.

I do not like an opponent getting a good player back but there is a lot of angst that I just do not quite understand.

Seems like there is more being the victim with this, like it is just so unfair--to Dallas.

I would love to play them without him. Makes it easy.

But that is not the case and we have to deal with it.

Oh well.

He's a really good player, but if I remember correctly, he hasn't exactly lit it up against us... shout out to JJ Watt...

How often are suspensions overturned by appeal?

If only rarely, then wow - this is even weirder.

They're typically not completely overturned. A lot of times, they're reduced. Since this was only a one-game suspension, I guess the only thing to reduce it to was a fine.

I figured he's win. Doesn't matter much. Dallas should win this game.

I'd love to hear why they believed it should be overturned.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I know this might be underestimating him, but I will be completely honest, I remember Suh more for the dirty things he does than him ever taking over a game.

Watt is the complete opposite, where he has owned entire games on his own.

I cannot think of one game Suh has ever had that compares to even one Watt has produced this season.

Don't shoot me, but if you forced me to bet the line, I would say Detroit will cover the 7 points.

I would sort of agree with this. I don't pay attention to the Lions that much but don't recall hearing his name a lot during games. Maybe because he doesn't get a lot of sacks like a player like Watt but Suh is not a player that we should all just fear like he's going to cause havoc. I know in the games we've played against him he has been pretty much a non-factor. The Lions defense has been pretty much a non-factor against us. We were able to move the ball on them at will and now that we have a better running game and oline I expect to continue on Sunday.

Oh, I am all on board with maliciously injuring him. I would definitely cheer if we brought in an enforcer like they do hockey or basketball and blow his knees out. He deserves it. He's a piece of garbage.

and then there's Josh Brent, at least Suh didn't kill another player or are you for Maliciously hurting him too!!

I'm furious. Just logged in and saw this. I am shocked. But not really. I'm truly thinking the same - if it were any other team but Dallas and Romo they were playing he would be suspended. Call me a conspiracy theorist. And I'm also not a fan of the Player's Reps and Unions and never have been. O Line better Protect Romo. I'm not worried about sacks. I'm worried about INTENT TO INJURE.

I'd prefer not to play such a talent, but with this Cowboys team I think it turns them up. I'm assuming they'll come out sharper and nastier than they've been all year. I'm planning on seeing the OL have their best game.

It isn't Suh's "talent" that concerns me. I swear, if he cheap shots Romo and take him out our players better not let Suh leave the stadium under his own power.

What happens if he knocks our starting QB out of the game with a dirty hit? Dude has bipolar and he isn't on meds.

This whole crime and punishment exercise was a carefully orchestrated PR move by the NFL. If they wanted the suspension to stick they would have cited past transgressions in the verdict similar to the Raiola verdict. As a stand-alone violation it's debatable whether a suspension was warranted. Now the NFL can at least claim they ordered a suspension which was overturned by an impartial arbiter. Totally orchestrated.

How does he get fined and not suspended?

Fining him is saying he committed the act in question. An act that should come with a mandatory suspension, particularly in his case.

The NFL has absolutely no credibility and never will as long as Mara heads the competition committee and Goodell is commish.

It makes ZERO sense, and I eargerly await this clueless buffoon being publicly called out on his ridiculous decision-making.

He's obviously totally unqualified to do his job.

this is truly pathetic.

But then again why should anyone expect real punishment for anyone anymore.

The rules changed they couldn't cite past transgressions.
