... this is what we paid Vanderjagt for - to make FGs. If he wants to separate himself from Suisham and Cortez he has to be perfect from 39 yards and in.

If he misses the odd 50+ yarder I can live with it. If he nails 85-90% of those 45-49 yarders he's been worth every penny the team spent on him and we get back the three games we lost last season.

With a kicker in those stat categories we are loaded to have a chance to win close games.
