Summer Films

Who's excited for what coming out this summer? Supposed to be a blockbuster kind of year I guess.

I'm looking forward to Godzilla (is that officially a "summer" film?) here in a few days but really anticipating the new Tom Cruise film, Edge of Tomorrow.

Edge of Tomorrow looks pretty good. I don't know how I'll do with all the dejavu stuff though. Seeing the same scenes, although altered usually loses my interest.

But I'm happy that a studio has invested a lot of money in something that isn't a sequel or reboot and brings a fairly original idea to the silver screen.

Also! It's weird to me that the biggest movies are being released earlier now. Growing up the big summer blockbusters with the most anticipation debuted in June and early July. Now a sizeable chunk of the big films debut in May. Could just be me though.

My Son wants to see Godzilla so bad he cannot stand it. I am personally looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy
