Sunday Games Day Thread

Jeanty is exactly who I thought he was. I got berated on here for judging him on the PSU game. Today's effort: 19 carries for 39 yards and 1 TD. lol

Lol and yall like giving the qb all day as long as we stop the run

All we did in that trade was swap problems
Jury is still out. A bit unfair to judge them based on what they did against the best line in the league.

How did they look last year against Philly? When Micah had 2 tackles and 0 sacks? This is what kills me you guys act like we didn’t struggle with Micah lol.

And we struggled with Clark. So what's the difference?

All of the rookie running backs sucked today except Commanders 7th rounder. Skaettbo had -2 yards….Hampton had 38.

Saquon was mediocre for years on the Giants, Henry exploded after he left that woeful Titans line, everyone looked like a monster running in Detroit

Oline is the #1 position group on a football team

Micah has a history of wearing down during a full season. Looking at his average numbers per season, he averages .9 sacks in his first 12 games, .5 sacks in the last 5 games and .25 sacks in the playoffs.

However,

You can expect the Packers coaches to do a far better job of regulating the number of his plays and placing him in circumstances where he is not constantly manhandled by a pair of 320 pound O-linemen.
If I'm paying a guy 47 million a year I expect him to play the majority of the snaps, not just pass rushing situations.
We will see over the course of the season how green bay plans to use him, but at that price u can't be a liability against the run.

He's nothing like Barkley who was injured a lot in NYC. Henry was great in TN. What the heck are you talking about?

I mean you’ve literally been trying to argue that losing a great pass rusher hasn’t and didn’t have an affect on the defense.

It’s an absolutely stupid argument. Yet you’ve been making it.
Like @jwitten82 just said above…we traded one problem for another.

But I trust the two 1st rounders and Clark to fix the problem then i do giving Micah 188 million to be a pass rush rush specialist.

Then maybe you should just say you like the trade but not make yourself sound silly by trying to argue the defense wouldn’t be better right now if Micah was still on it.

Henry was great in TEN *when he had a strong line. The last 3 years they did not. His final 5 years of ypc in TEN, then first year in BAL in bold

5.1
5.4
4.3
4.4
4.2
5.9

Nearly 2 ypc jump

And then Saquon was injured at times in NY, but his total ypc in NY was 4.3, and his final season was 3.9 when he played 14 games. 1 year in Philly and he’s at 5.8, nearly 2 ypc better and almost a 1 ypc jump over any season he had prior, injured or healthy.

THAT is what I’m talking about. Oline matters far more

Can someone tell Romo to shut up about Parsons I just looked at the stat line he isn’t even in that 0 -0 -0
