To be fair, his (Ravens) last 3 losses were to
Allen and Bills
Mahomes and Chiefs
Allen and Bills
So what you are telling me is the Ravens can't beat quality teams in the playoffs. That is not the sign of a great team. Good but not great.

Ravens blew it again. 3 turnovers. 2 missed 2 point attempts. Yet they still only lost by 2 points. First interception by Jackson resulted in nothing so it didn't reaally make any difference but both he he and Andrews fumbling the ball in Bills territory killed them. Shame as they would have given the Chiefs a really good game.
Just because a turnover doesn't result in points for the other team, doesn't mean it didn't matter. It still stops your possession and you gain no points on that drive. Reminds me of Romo saying when he threw that pick against Baltimore to close out Texas Stadium, that it didn't matter and it was just like a punt. Nah, not how it works.

Ravens have no idea how to beat good teams in the playoffs. They look fine against teams like Steelers, Texans, Titans, the 3 teams that Lamar has beaten. Being close means zero. Dallas has been close in plenty of their playoff games but came up short every time. I see a lot of similarities with Baltimore as Dallas. Great in the regular season and might even win a playoff game every now and then but just like all these Dallas teams, they never have won more than one playoff game in any given time they have made it. Specifically talking about this era with Lamar, not the Flacco era.

Great game. This does nothing to hurt Lamar's reputation. He was great/elite before this game and he is the same after. They didn't even have top WR Zay Flowers.

The same will apply to Josh Allen next week even if he loses to Mahomes.

Lamar Jackson is not elite. Stop it. People throw the word 'elite' around too loosely. That is the best of the best. He isn't that. He's a good QB but not great.

dude, give it up. He is about to win his third MVP and his stats this year ARE elite. Yes he is elite; not as good as Mahomes; but certainly on a par with Burrows and Allen. Just deal with it.

How exactly is he on par with Allen? He's now 0-2 against Allen in the playoffs. 0-1 against Mahomes. Got destroyed by Ryan Tannehill as a 1 seed. Had the 1 seed last year, too and nada to show for it. Doesn't sound very elite to me. But hey, cool MVP awards.

If Lamar Jackson is elite, then Eli Manning must be beyond the realm of elite, huh?

Wait, are you trying to rationalize Jerry and his job as GM?
It is about GMs in general and the irrational measuring stick people here use to measure a GMs performance. And irrationally blaming everything on the GM.

It was 2nd and 11. Becomes 3rd and 11 with an incompletion fairly deep in their own half. Probably gave the Bills 10-15 extra yards of possession. To me that didn't really make any difference. Obviously you rather not have it but it wasn't like the fumbles by Jackson or Andrews which were huge swings.

I remember Brady having was it 3 interceptions for the Bucs against the Packers but two of those were effectively arm punts. They made hardly any difference if they had been incompletions and then having to punt. If anything one was better than an arm punt from memory.

Peyton Manning did not have a great record in the playoffs; running into brady and the pats and losing most of the time
So now in your way of looking things Peyton Manning was not elite.
see how ridiculous your claims are?
I will take if further. Jim Kelly was 0-4 in the SB so obviously not elite.
Gee, both of them are in the HOF.
But you say not elite.

didn't the Bills get points after both fumbles?

Here's the scary thing about Daniels.

To me you only have one QB in the league that doesn't beat himself with turnovers. And that's Patrick Mahomes. Even Hurts, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen turn it over in big games. Just look at Lamar today. I keep telling my Ravens friends (I live in the Annapolis area) that Lamar ultimately will break your heart like Dak has done for us. Lamar Jackson will never win a SB; I don't care how many MVPs he earns. I said that 3 years ago and still feel that way.

Back to Jayden Daniels. The fact that this dude goes on the road in big games doesn't **** the bed with turnovers is very Mahomes esque.

Which scares the living **** out of me as a Cowboys fan. Like Mahomes, if Daniels starts his career not choking, goes out and wins a SB, then like Mahomes, he'll be playing with house money the rest of his career.
Mahomes is a poker pro, knows when to throw em, knows when to walk away and knows when to run.
