Sunday Games Thread

You think the Seahawks are average? I think they might be one of the best teams in football right now.
I think they'll be a wildcard team and lose... one and done.

So it's all about perspective as far as if that's "average" or not.

I think that's average

But most Cowboy fans think that's a wildly successful season.

I envy those people. So easily impressed

I was pleased to see great running backs Sunday.

I had almost forgotten how exciting they are to watch vs. the 2-3 yard Zeke Elliott gains in my recent memory!!

Seahawks fans love DLaw. I asked on their Reddit how they feel about him and they said outside the durability issue, he’s been excellent. Can’t believe the cowboys let him walk for so cheap, especially for Osa.

It kinda confirms what I said for years since Parcells left, Jerry and the front office don’t know how to build and put together a complete defense. They don’t always scout them well but even when they do and get the right pieces, they just don’t know how to complete the puzzle.

Law was vocal about wanting to play for a contender.

He wants a ring and has a shot at it.

You knew he quit on this team when he did not come back last year. Nothing wrong with it from either side

They were plannng to cave to Micah and removing DLaw was part of that.

Watching the Seahawks dismantle the Cardinals, a team the Cowboys struggled with made me think. Other teams find DBs who can cover and make plays yet Dallas has rotated a bunch of guys in and out and still can stop any QB from having big games. The Seahawks destroyed the Cardinals on both sides of the ball, while the Cowboys offense with two alleged all-pro WRs couldn't move the ball consistently.

It makes me wonder, is it the players? Maybe not.

His is great on his own. Just a special runner.
I'm not even sure what you meant by your reply, you trying to tell me that if he had the most horrible offensive line in football he'd still be really good ?no he wouldn't, they worked together that was the whole argument with Emmett Smith versus the all time all in teams that he was on with the offensive lines a great wall of Dallas, It takes both at the same time to have a special season like this,

I promise you if he was on a team struggling I don't know the Raiders how's AJ doing with the Raiders trying to tell me that he's just not a good running back or does it have something to do with the offense he's in with the offensive line let's be real here Taylor has not had these years every year, sometimes he just looks like a regular back, he's having a special season just like Saquon Bartley looked different in New York , just good, look He did last year in Philly ,how'd that be? You know what the difference was it was the offensive line and the offense that goes with just about any player....

Anything else I can help you with learning about football and team game??

I mean it takes an entire football team to be good but on the offense you're not going to be a good running back if your offensive lines not good I watched him have just about any hole to pick from yesterday they were all over the place versus let's say ours where Williams is fighting for every yard he can get, there's very rarely a big hole, they're kind of cracks, that he has to fight his way through, that's the difference..

Yes, he's been a good running back for quite a long time, but it takes both and the fact that you don't give credit to the opportunity tells me you don't know much about football It starts and ends in the trenches on both sides of the ball Those dues matter and they matter a lot...

Agree! The bar has definitely been lowered big time when it comes to this franchise! One and done seems to be our mantra around here.

Still can’t believe I was arguing with someone here who kept saying that Jaydon Blue is basically Jahmyr Gibbs but better. Funny thing is he blocks ME saying I was the one trolling. Some fans man
It's probably the same guy who was positive towards those Murray and Sanborn signings at linebacker.

Awesome armchair GM/talent evaluator and all...
LOL
