I guess they learned the hard way that you don't play different QBs for different occasions.

It's odd because the ref at the coin toss says both will have the opportunity to possess the ball and the other rule says "Both teams must have the opportunity to possess the ball once during the extra period, unless the team kicking off to start the overtime period scores a safety on the receiving team’s initial possession, in which case the team that kicked off is the winner."

Yea, I am finding two different answers everywhere.
