After seeing the Vikings go into hyper conservative mode AGAIN, and it costing them a regulation win, I want absolutely nothing to do with Zimmer. He does this every time and it's cost them so many games.

5 carries is not enough to panic and change game plans. As I posted in another thread, Elliott's last 6 carries of the game had him averaging 6.3 ypc (6 for 38) but we stopped giving him the ball at the very start of the 4th Quarter and mustered a whole 3 points in the entire 2nd half. So 13 whole rushes and he closed at a 6ypc clip. The OL was doing just fine. They weren't given the chance the Titans and Vikings were.

Totally agree they need to keep running him. But the blocking wasn't there initially. I'm not saying it wouldn't have picked up.

well here is to hoping cook breaks a big run or screen pass, otherwise the saints will be lining up for the game winning field goal in about five minutes here.

If the vikings run one of these end around, fake jet sweeps that force cousins to turn his back to the pass rush then be expected to turn into the pass rush and make a play I am going to just cringe....that is what buffalo did.

i never understand having the qb turn his back to the rush on the road in these situations.
