One thing is certain Sunday Night....with all this drama, Zeke playing, the NFCEast rivalry, and primetime football, this game will be a ratings bonanza. I wouldn't doubt that this will game will have the highest ratings this regular season.

I believe you'll be 100% correct with your assessment..

Wonder what the Giants boards are like, with the news that Zeke will be playing...as well, as other teams thoughts on it.
Like are GB fans ok with it, whining, or don't care.

Al and Chris, what will be their demeanor, I bet al will be high on his horse acting against Zeke. Chris, you never know. Wonder if they will be pro NFL, or have the balls to tell the truth.

Anyway, I expect the crowd to be loud, have a lot of Zeke support signs. Hope to see a few Goodell clown faces, but will NBC have the balls to show them.
but need to have the Dallas fans there, and not a big NY crowd.

Can't wait for Chris and Al, as any announcer should, gush over Jaylon when he plants Eli in the ground. Gush about him being on the field of course. We as fans will gush about it being Eli.

Expect NBC to put their capes on for the Giants and the NFL. This is the same network that would unprofessionally play samba music over the broadcast when Victor Cruz would score a touchdown.

Im sure we will get another political lecture from Bob Costas at halftime about DV, just like when he did his gun control spiel.

But yea, definitely a must see SNF game.

NBC will fall in line with the NFL. This is too hot from the PC crowd to not assume guilt. As others have said, she said it, so it has to be true. The NFL is beyond reproach from the networks. They've invested too much. Always follow the money.

Yeah, assuming most cowboy fans at the game are following this like the zone is, I would expect the crowd to be off the chain loud. At least that's what I'm hoping for. It would be great for ,goodell to hear the ire of 80k plus cowboys fans screaming at the top p of their lungs for three hours.

Hey, how does Zeke being allowed to play in this game jive with your fantasy anti-Cowboys conspiracy theory of Mara running the NFL?

Well, a few things. NY's offense has not been all that in some time. Even this preseason they look flat at times. I think they're really depending on their defense to be as good this year as last. Here's my biggest concerns:

1) Nolan Carroll scares me a lot. Dude is always running several steps behind the receiver. I hope Anthony Brown is healthy.
2) JPP against La'el Collins. La'el seems susceptible to swim moves and at times gets caught flat footed.
3) Jeff Heath has been pretty much invisible in the preseason. Better show up sunday night.

Cowboys should really focus on attacking the Giants rookie DT replacing Hankins in the middle. run run run pound him with Frederickbeard and Zack Martin double teams. The Giants are also shifting the MLB spot around to. Dallas should see this as to their advantage. Get the Giants to commit Collins to help with the run then play action them.

He is livid. All that work and he still has to play Zeke.

On another note, I got Zeke for week 1 on the fantasy squad, but lost Mike Evans....if it ain't one thing its another.

That's his jam. Bob's not always right but gotta give him credit for his passion.

I think it would be poor form though - I think he'll talk about Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

There was a court hearing yesterday - perhaps you missed it when you were too busy reading your own posts while looking at yourself in the mirror like that scene from V for Vendetta.

Tired of the same regular season openers every year...I wish the NFL would go back to scheduling non-divisional opponents for all teams in week 1. Since the starters barely play much in the preseason, week 1 should just be a game for everyone to get settled and get their bodies ready to play 4 quarters. Instead, it comes down to a crucial divisional game already.

They're still going to get high ratings no matter what - you could easily have put Dallas vs. Green Bay/Atlanta/Seattle in this opener
