Sooo on the first snap of the first Dallas possession against the mighty gnat run blitz (because they know it will be Barber too ) What do YOU think will be the first play call by the Red Baron?

Personally I would like to see it be a pass over the middle to MartyB or something similar to get momentum going.

I'd like to see your preference come true. A pass over the middle to Marty B. Actually any pass, because then we can hear from those who gripe whenever we do pass that Garrett is too pass happy and not committed to the run.

Lets do the math.

Giants have a great DL. Very good run defenders, but even better pass rushers.

Romo has historically been a slow starter. Have a few ideas why, but that's a topic for another thread.

The last thing you'd want to do is start the game with a big negative play on offense. Sack, Int.

This all adds up to a run to Barber to start the game. 2 yards and a cloud of dust.

I'd like us to start off in the 12. Both TE's set tight and both WRs set wide to the sidelines.

Nothing fancy, no pulling. Just 7 hats on 7 hats and see what happens. I don't care if it's Barber or Jones. Let's keep it simple for the first TWO plays and test out that Giants front 7.

Thier defensive front seven is very good but not all that big. Lets get them each in a confined space and see if we can't beat them up a little.

If we do this for our first 2 plays, perhaps 6 of our 1st 9, we might take a pep out of their step and slow up the pass rush. It might also allow Romo to settle into the game a little slower.

Lot's of good suggestions based on what might work and what you would like to see. But the 1st play? What else..... handoff to Barber designed to go off tackle and he will try to bounce to the outside for little or no gain.
