The Cowboys play after the bye on Sunday night (giants) and then Thursday afternoon (eagles). As Jason Garret said it could be the quickest turnaround in NFL history but the team needs to suck it up. Sean Payton is not a big fan either of playing on Sunday then Thursday. He said last week if a team has to play on Thursday then they should play the afternoon game on Sunday. I tend to agree with him on this but it is what it is. Maybe next year the NFL will consider this.

1. It's a home game.
2. We asked for Thanksgiving games.
3. We then have a full week before the our next Thursday game.
4. We then get 10 days before playing Philly the 2nd time.

This is after the week 11 Bye. We really aren't in a position to complain.

would be less of an issue if Sunday was at home

but obviously these guys have played road games before Thanksgiving before, I don't think a few hours will make that much of a difference

Yeah, if we can get the home win on Thanksgiving, we have a nice advantage on both teams in the next two games

The cards have aligned pretty perfectly for us this year.

If we can't take out the Eagles without Foles, we probably don't deserve to move forward.

We have to take out a bad Bears team, a bad Washington team that we should have beaten the first time, a bad Giants team, and the Eagles without Foles (maybe twice).

We shouldn't lose more than 2 more games this regular season.

With our running game and improving defense, if the passing game can continue to evolve we should become one of the if not the most balanced team in the NFL in the playoffs. This could not only just be our year, it could be the start of a new dynasty. As well as they've played this year, we're ideally placed to do even better next year. I would like to see us re-sign some players during this bye, before we have to pay a premium on them next year because teams saw them play in the playoffs.

actually the Bears play on Thanksgiving too, so it's the same rest for both teams

but if we lose to that trainwreck for any reason we don't deserve the playoffs

The Saints had to play on Sunday night and then on Thursday. They were ok.

The Dolphins played on Sunday Night in 2003 before playing us on Thanksgiving. They won 41-20.

I don't think this shorter than usual interval will have any undue influence on the game's outcome IMO.

If we lose to the sorry arse Bears.......................we don't deserve to win the division and be in the playoffs.................Chicago and Carolina both are JV level teams right now.

I'm not too sure about that. Foles wasn't playing particularly well to begin with. Being Sanchez is more mobile than Foles and you need a more mobile qb to run that offense...it wouldn't shock me if the Eagirls don't miss a beat.
