When CBS switched games, I almost screamed. The Dallas game was shown locally, so the Sunday Ticket channel was blacked out. When they went to the hated Stealers game, I turned to the DirecTV channel that was showing the game in other cities. It was still blacked out.:( It took a few minutes, but the game came on the Sunday Ticket channel. Yay!!!

So glad I didn't miss T-New's pick six. It's times like this that Sunday Ticket is even more worth it.

I'm too cheap to buy Sunday Ticket, so P24U fortunately had it showing on numerous channels.

I'm cheap too, but I just can't live without high quality Cowboys games and the assurance that it will be televised locally no matter what. Also, you get to see literally every game in the NFL every week. So I'm one of the suckers who pay for it.

Its a good thing to have for sure. My dad has it and loves it. I may break down and get it one of these ole' days. Just can't see it happening right now...the streams aren't great, but they get the job done.

You can do what I did...cancel Direct TV during the off-season. In about 3-5 months, they will be calling you wanting you back. Got the ticket for free plus all of the movie packages for free for 3 months of course. Plus, they are paying my cable company to get me out of their deal.

Only had to deal with cable for about 4 months.

Could you really just keep doing that every year?

That's brilliant

Same exact scenario came up in the Philly market back in 2007 for the Rams game. I'm sure it has since, but on this occasion direct TV didn't and couldn't get me my feed back. After screaming at 3 different supervisors demanding a refund, which I didn't get, I dropped the NFL ticket package.

They will never get another dime of my money under any circumstances.

I believe you have to sign up for two years.

If I remember correct you live in Detroit right? Or could be getting it wrong, but when I did live in Detroit, from 96 to 2004, till I started getting NFL ticket in 99, Most of the time, Cowboys game came on TV, and just a few games I used to have to go to Sports bar.

Seemed like there were more Cowboys fans in Detroit than I see in Dallas ( well on the road, with cowboys stickers etc on cars for example).
