There was a 10 year period there I used to go into games thinking I hope we can win this game. If you know what I mean.
The last few years since MM (take away the Dak games missed with his broken ankle) I now look at them as I know we can win this game. Though a few of them things must go right.

However with Cooper in there and the defense I still thought we could win after the Bengals and Giants games.

And being a homer does not mean one can't be critical of the team when need be.

With Dak returning against the Detroit Lions. It will be like a start to a new season. It is just we will be starting 2 games behind in an 11 game season.

With the running game improving over the past few games and if Moore can stick with that. And not get pass happy. With Dak the offense can get rolling again. Control the clock. Give the defense the rest it needs during games. This team will be much better, and will look and play much better.

Dak will not play like he did against TB. As the OL is playing much better as well.
And WR's will look much better as well. And Washington may return after the bye week to add more support. The young TE's look really good so Dak has more targets to throw to and will need to be accounted for.

Defense will now need to account for Dak, as well try to stop the run.

I know the Dak haters do not want to hear or read this, but it is a fact of life. As they will try to hijack yet another thread.

I really think that Dak sitting out and watching the game from the sidelines will help him going forward. I bet he learned a few things and will be better for it.

Didn't he already do that for pretty much a whole season? This time will be different though. He's got everything going for him. Elite defense, one of the best offensive lines in the league, great running game to lean on. Should be a blowout.

Agree. Need to stick with the same game plan used for Rush. Dak has a better arm and would make those throws Rush couldn't. At least, I hope so.

Like it or not Dak is the leader of this team and the players love and rally around him. Let's hope he can replicate his first year in the league when they ran the ball effectively and used PA pass for chunk plays. If the defense can continue to play at a high level with a little more help from the offense this team will be a force to be reckoned with.

see Eagles we needed more offense and rush couldn't deliver. There are games we need to open it up for. this is on MOORE.. this is also NOT NEW last year's 6-0 run with Dak looked a lot like this 4 game stretch solid defense and a very good run game. however also see other stretches like 11-0 as rookie similar plan..

you cant do that all 17 games some will require more points and more passing.

with dak LOL you mean with 52 other plyers, coaching staff and against that bucs defense,.

It was a horrible gameplan for starters and once against the bucs defense the first month of the season were the best d in football. Moore abandoned the run, wr dropped passes, couldn't get open and the D couldn't stop Fournette.

just bad team game. this isnt the bucs, this is Lions and Bears than Bye.,

its the GB game that Moore will have to prove he can beat a better team and defense. the common denominator isnt Dak, its Moore. game 1, 42 passes 18 runs , run was working only 2 runs for zeke in the 2nd half.

To also help avoid more Dak hijack posts, .i’m directing it more towards more the coaches – such as Kellen Moore.

- Since there is no such thing as McCarthy being involved in this Kellen offense- it’s about what Kellen prioritizes as Dak returns.
Will Moore insists upon getting Dak back into “ previous’ form with a pass happy frenzy mode ,,.. and making the run game now a second thought ?

- With Cooper, we led with the run game- and it paid off with dual run-pass threat , and strengthen play action and involving balance between both RBs Zeke/Pollard
I think it established a physical mentality and mode, I think it helped our OL even more.
I think it really helped being more in attack mode.

- Also Maybe Kellen wasn’t fond of Cooper trying to push it deep, and over the top of defenses, but with a much stronger arm Dak, I would try one or two go-fly routes to speedster Turpin
in certain packages and situations with Dak back.

- But do the coaches see and want Turpin as purely a special teams guy ...and that's it ?

I really think Dak is going to be a little rusty. I think he will start slow and get better as the game progresses. Please, no more injuries.

There is no correlation between a run game that is working and Moore getting pass happy. If the run game is working, he uses it.

Thanks to an improved Oline, we can now run the ball again. So the game plan will go back to what it was the first half of last year.

Im not convinced the offense looks much better with Dak. The offensive line is a real issue.
