Take last year for example. the Cowboys beat the bad teams and lost to the good teams. Their record was 12-5 and forever will be. No one will remember how they got there just that they won 12 games and made the playoffs.
I am off the next day and week, so I'm ok with it. Usually I have to go to bed before the game is over. Gotta wake up at 5am.

It will be Tampa's highest TV rating of the year. It will also be the highest rated game this weekend. Everyone wants to see Jerry grinning or crying in the owners box. It's a thing.
To add to this unless the rule has changed recently it's always been your only allowed to flex the late day games up plus Fox and CBS has the option to protect one game from that slot anyways so you only ever end up with like two maybe three games that are even eligible to be flexed up

It was a weird start at 6:20. I wish it would’ve been flex. I just don’t never understand why when the Cowboys are bad, they still don’t flex us. sure could’ve use the noon game Sunday just feels like a lot like what the Bengals game was gonna be though I think people are scared of Tampa Bay for nothing. Yes they can maybe lights up but also if our team comes and plays hard, it’s about the same talent level as the Bengals in my opinion anyway.
Man, I loved those guys, the early lineup with Meadowlark and Curly,,, unfortunately though I think the Cowboys are going play the part of the Washington Generals while Baker clowns on us!
