Super Bowl Home Team?

Shouldn't matter since the game is in Arizona. There is still a lotta love for the Cowboys in Arizona.

Anyone know if it's the AFC or Dallas? :D

It's definatly the AFC, I looked it up easlier in the season. The Bears were the home team last year.

I thought this would be about how dallas building a new dome could mean we get the superbowl instead of new orleans and when we go on a roll winning superbowl after superbowl we coudl have a home game in the superbowl... which i think is very rare

any of you old trivia people know how often a superbowl team has played in their own building?

The home team in the Super Bowl chooses their jersey color. I think the Pats and Colts would both choose blue. Which means the NFC team (Dallas) would wear white. Cool!

I am pretty sure no team has played in a SB in their own stadium.

The Rams played the Steelers in the Rose Bowl just outside of L.A. in SB XIV and the 49ers played the Dolphins in Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto right close to San Francisco. Tampa played Oakland in San Deigo in SB XXXVII. No team has actually played in their own stadium in a Super Bowl. Dallas will change all that in a couple of years.;)

The funny thing is that Arizona has more Cowboys fans than Cardinals fans, not that the locals have a bunch of the tickets but when the AFC team gets off the plane and walks around town it will mess with their heads;)

Easy...now! The Cowboys might not get to go to AZ, just yet...

Good things happen to those that happen...but never count on it.

Bingo!

Doesnt matter what they say... its a home game for Dallas.

The Cowboys play better in "road" games anyway. And since Arizona is Dallas West (as far as fans go), the Boyz should feel right at home if they get there.

The Dolphins are the only AFC team whose home jerseys are white.
