I keep telling myself Hurts isn't that good. He's the guy pulled from the National Championship Game in the 2nd half. He's the guy that was 'meh' his first season in the league. A poor man's RGIII I thought, certainly nowhere near Lamar Jackson.

I wasn’t sold on him either but he’s absolutely elevated his game to another level this year. He may not be the best QB in the traditional sense, but he’s poised, athletic, and plays within himself and the offense. I’ve done a complete 180 on him, although I have reservations about how successful he will be when the Eagles shell out top dollar and are forced to let some talent around him walk. That’s a problem for tomorrow though, they’re in the Super Bowl so they don’t care and I don’t blame them
