Sup guys ...

I'm feeling it in my blood. Something special is brewing.

Airline prices are drop dead rock bottom from NYC to DFW for Super Bowl weekend. I think I'm going to book early before prices shoot up. I want to spend the weekend in Dallas and watch the game down there.

Any recommendations as to where to watch the game? Where are you guys going to be?

Whaddya think? Jumping the gun? If we make it past the divisional round, I guarantee hotels and flights to DFW will quadruple. I wanna book now. Worse comes to worst, if we lose before the Super Bowl, my wife and I take a weekend flight to Dallas. :)

I would stay in Dallas.. look at the Omni, Hyatt, Hilton Anatole, W, Westin.

There should be watch parties announced if that game ends up happening.

I would say a watch party would be there or at The Star in Frisco. There is a hotel at The Star. I am not sure if it is open yet, but that would be sweet

I agree. I think Jerry World will probably do something. Tailgate most of the day and watch game on the big screen with a stadium of Cowboy fans

Why would you go to Dallas when you could just fly to Houston, where the Super Bowl is. Not trying to be rude, but why would you fly to Dallas just to watch a Super Bowl?

if you stay at Omni, I advise going elsewhere to watch the game and not in their hotel "sports bar" The Owner's Box.

poor service, overpriced, and overcrowded with folks of highly questionable character.

It's a marathon not a sprint, a marathon that starts next week. I'm not usually in to jinxes but this feels like a jinx thread.

I know the Super Bowl is in Houston, but I wanna feel the energy of the home team in the home city. :)

I agree. I don't want to jinx anything, and I would feel like crap if I booked ... and you know ..

But it's not like I'm getting a Super Bowl tattoo. I just wanna be in town when it happens ... :)

Ha different sport but what you said reminds me of when Jason Terry got a Championship tattoo at the beginning of the 2010-2011 season and that season the Dallas Mavericks did win the NBA Championship. Still don't know if that was dumb or awesome, some of both.
