Like the top three-five with a little info on them, that would be nice since safety is done for this year's weak draft. I heard it will have a lot of excellent talent.

i am not a super-draftnik, but here are some to consider (courtesy of Walter Football):

Robert Lester - Alabama
TJ McDonald - USC
Tony Jefferson - Oklahoma
Ray Ray Armstrong - Miami
Matt Elam - Florida
Isaiah Johnson - GA Tech
Rashard Hall - Clemson
Baccari Rambo - Gerogia
Prentiss Waggner - Tennessee
Vaughn Telemaque - Miami

I would love to but I was working on something for several positions after the draft is over if you can wait till then.:laugh2:

T.J McDonald out of USC sounds like the top prospect.. That is about all I know.

I'll be waiting for this!

Top 3 are probably Lester, McDonald, and Ray Ray as of right now (of who will come out), but alot can change in a whole college season.

Honey Badger is inbetween CB/S right now, so who knows where he will end up.

But of course, I haven't given up hope on us being able to pick up a guy that can contribute in this draft yet!!

Lester sounds pretty serious. I love anyone who is called a ball hawk. I know it's become all about the pass rush but I'd rather have a bunch of ball hawks. Interceptions are better than sacks IMO.

Is Rambo going to be in the supp draft?

I believe he was leaning that way (pending his appeal of his suspension).

If Kenny Vaccaro from UT decides to come out, I think he will be a 1st round pick.

Edit: He will be coming out... he's a senior this year.

Awesome....is next year's pass rushers mentioned?

If bacari rambo doesn't enter the supp draft he will go top 20 next year.

Eric Reid, Tony Jefferson, and TJ McDonald are my 3 top Safeties for next year

I also really like Vacarro and Rambo.

If he declares for the supplemental draft, I'd throw out a 3rd round claim and cross my fingers.

Plus...

Eric Reid, LSU (Jr) - probably the top Safety
CJ Barnett, Ohio St (Jr)

...and Iowa CB Micah Hyde's best potential might be at FS. Iowa toyed with moving him in 2011 but they needed him at CB.

There's also Nick Moody, FSU and DeVonte Holloman, S Carolina, but they're limited in coverage. Holloman is huge and a freak - might end up at OLB.

This is horribly random but if my last name was Rambo I'd be pretty happy about that.

I can't imagine the number of fights someone would have if they had the last name of Rambo and lived in my old neighborhood.

Rambo would be very interesting if he is in the supplemental draft. Before players declared for the 2012 draft, a number of people thought that Rambo was better than Barron.

I hope Garrett does not automatically take players off the list due to weed issues in college. I think you need to address character issues on a per-player basis. Interviews with the player and his coaches should be considered.
