Super fast?

I'm pretty sure they said Alex Wright ran a 4.1 in Dallas at one time, but he was a dud at wr.

NFL | Charles weighs in at NFL Scouting Combine

University of Texas RB Jamaal Charles weighed in at the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine Friday, Feb. 22, at 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds. Charles said his fastest 40-yard dash was 4.1 seconds. Charles also stated that he would love to stay in the state of Texas and play for the Houston Texans or Dallas Cowboys.:D

charles is a 4.1 guy? just remember that emmitt smith also claimed to be a 4.4 guy coming out of college, but as we all know, speed is not quickness, and speed without pads is not the same as game speed.

Exactly, I have been a proponent of these guys running in full pads and helmets to get a real judge of their game speed.

Pads do affect some more than others and there is only 1 way to figure that out.

I don't believe the 4.1, but...

I'm trying to stay out of the Jamaal Charles discussions (I'm too much of a Longhorn homer). Can any of you who watched some Texas games this year remember a game where he was not the fastest player on the field? I can't remember seeing him caught from behind in any game.
