Super hypothetical!

I'm bored to death and yes goofing on madden. I came up with a super crazy idea.

I was thinking what if we infact did trade romo? I know nothing new. (I'm a romo supporter btw) say jerry wanted a deadline or they were struggling to find common ground nand jerry is frustrated.

So I was thinking of afc teams. I came up with the browns. Plenty of cap room and a better line than us (ol), say they trade 2 firsts, this and next yrs.

I know than why not blow it up right? Wrong that'll never sell for jerry.
So we make another trade of, u guessed it spencer, we trade him for a third, (saints)

Now this is where it gets crazy, we could possibly trade one of those thirds for mallet of the pats , see if he can compete with orton. If not than yes wasted pick.

This years draft.

First round. From browns take one of the tackles highest rated of the ones there. With our pick take one of the top 2 guards(if one is there)
second round take datone jones or tank carridine de, 3rd ur safety, 4th rb,...etc.

We are still competitive. We have a solid ol going forward and capspace... Next yr draft a qb for the future. Or if we do the mallet trade and he turns out to be good, we still have 2 firsts and cap room to play with.

browns with getting tony can sell that they are trying to win.. And with cap space and romo maybe they lure levitre and wallace, and the browns still have the rest of there picks to focus on there other needs, but they compete in the afc north.


I know ill probably get hammered for this in general, but oh well. I'm beyond bored have at it brethren and sisters in cowboys fandom

Thanks lol I know it'll never happen nor do I think id want it to, mainly because I'm kinda sentimental on our players. I do think it was an interesting thought, cause we'd still be competitive and next year with cap and picks still get our qb of the future. Which we'd be looking into soon regardless of trading romo in this scenario. I think we'd have a killer ol finally. That's what most of us are screaming lol. Sorry like I said bored.

We could probably trade back from 6 and snag Warmack or Cooper in the 10-15 range. Then, a pass rusher at 18.

See this is where I can get crazy haha, yes trade down like you said, than trade our original for high sec and next years first, we get our guard, 2 sec, and 3thirds, than 3 firsts next yr hahahaha I need to go to sleep. Well thanks for not thrashing me, I'm guessing when I awaken ill get to read some colorful posts xp.
