Will the Cowboys ever win a Superbowl, our last Superbowl win was 1996. We've have great teams, players, and we've made strides over the years. This team is lacking in having a manager that is willing to get this team to the next level to hold that Lombardi trophy in his hand! Getting old seeing all these other teams make it to the Superbowl and we're coming nowhere near it.

"Ever" is a long time so I say, yes it will win another SB someday. Maybe not in my lifetime, however. ;)

1. Name a great Dallas Cowboys team between January 29, 1996 and today in your opinion.
2. How would you describe the franchise making 'Super Bowl caliber' strides during the above time period in your opinion?

We have had zero great teams since 96. There were some who were close to turning the corner, at which time Jerry started making odd draft choices and stupid trades.

The 08 team was a great example. We finished at 13-3. So, what does Jerry do? Takes a complementary RB w/ a 1st, and then takes another frickin' CB w/ our other 1st. And then in the 2nd: a FRICKIN' TE. No 3rd round pick, but takes ANOTHER RB IN THE 4TH!!!

You can't make this tish up. All position players until OLB Erik Walden in the 6th. And at WR we had an aging Owens and one complementary type in Crayton. Ick.

I think the 2014 team was a good/great team. Probably Romo's best year of his career, with a great offense. It's too bad our defense was middle of the road that season. To me, that has been the best season with the most potential to get to the promised land.
