100It's exactly what we thought we were getting. He wasn't a top 5 or even a top 10 pick. He was a late 1st rounder that we knew wasn't going to come in and start throwing guys around.
The draft is about the future. I guess some forget that. Instant gratification society we live in now.
it is early to declare Mazi a bad pick but jerry will almost NEVER admit drafting mistakes......and that's his biggest weaknessYeah that Jerry knows football.
The Overshown pick may be a bright spot if he can make a splash next seasonHate the pick in 1st round but there’s time for it to grow on me . I hate entire draft
Only pick I likedThe Overshown pick may be a bright spot if he can make a splash next season
The actual reference was strictly discussing what he’s doing in the weight room and wasn’t talking about on the field.Superhuman?? Currently? May be a bit much. Hopefully he turns out to be!!
My problem with him is even if he pans out it’s still a bad pick because what he does just isn’t of value. It's exactly what we thought we were getting. He wasn't a top 5 or even a top 10 pick. He was a late 1st rounder that we knew wasn't going to come in and start throwing guys around.

Yeah.. Draft class looks incredibly poor.Hate the pick in 1st round but there’s time for it to grow on me . I hate entire draft
well there is aubrey....Yeah.. Draft class looks incredibly poor.
Overshown will be a baller though. No doubt.
IF he were to get six sacks a season I would fall over in a faint. My problem with him is even if he pans out it’s still a bad pick because what he does just isn’t of value.
Now if he starts getting after the QB I’ll change my tune but I don’t see it.
But even with Tyler Smith we saw flashes and power in year one,….Wasn’t he taken at like 26-27? DT’s take time like Olineman
Well Mr. NFL fake Internet GM ,Fact is that you should never take a player that needs development in a serious way in the first rd.
Even a QB.
IT is clear he was always going to be a project
WASTING a pick in this way is bad management,
Are the idiots crying about too high expectations on this pick ready to acknowledge we could not have found someone equally athletic and so on later in the draft?
Says you Mr. fake Internet GM know it all with your giant ego your opinion means nothing except for people reading it in here are gonna have an opinion about your opinion you're not an NFL executive in any way shape or form you're not a professional in any way shape or form so you could say what you want but no one's gonna take it to heartIF he were to get six sacks a season I would fall over in a faint.
He was simply not worth even a late first rd pick no matter what is claimed about who else wanted him.
I don't remember any true pure nose tackle played in the type of defense that we're playing ever to even get close to six sacks that's not their job,,, most nose tackles average about two sacks a year for their entire career if that but they always have slow starts like Jordan Davis did last year he put up a stat line very similar to mazi Smith.. He is nowhere near a three tech he is not a defensive end he is not gonna put up stats so you can keep saying things and we're gonna keep telling you they aren't true...IF he were to get six sacks a season I would fall over in a faint.

From someone who posts hundreds of words claiming he knows so much,Well Mr. NFL fake Internet GM ,
show us your credentials again this happens all over the league no one intends it to be a project but here's the problem we took him 27 that's about as close to the second round as you can get the fact is most people said he would probably not last till the time we picked again in the second round they took their player where they took him because of that scenario happening they wanted him maybe he is a second rounder but they had to take him at 27 it's not a big deal you consider the fact that the Eagles took Jordan Davis last year with the 13th overall pick and he had the same rookie year that Smith is having apparently that's what nose tackles do but at least we took him 27 and not 13 maybe you ought to see the silver lining and not the negativity because one thing you should come to terms with you're not a professional your opinion is just that telling a team full of highly season professionals that they should never do something is egomaniacal and ridiculous and you should stop right there.....
It's so out of control and ridiculous in here with the really oh I know it all I know it all I'm a professional social media poster and I am laying down the law lmao
I guess I am living in your head, eh?I don't remember any true pure nose tackle played in the type of defense that we're playing ever to even get close to six sacks that's not their job,,, most nose tackles average about two sacks a year for their entire career if that but they always have slow starts like Jordan Davis did last year he put up a stat line very similar to mazi Smith..
