So I was going to cut my hair this week... And then I remembered we have a huge game this weekend. I know that regardless of whether I cut my hair or not the outcome will be the outcome but...

I have also stopped buying Mcfarlene NFL figures... because it seems to be a bad thing. ( I have a Roy Williams, Julius Jones, T.O and a Tony Romo)

I won't wear my Romo shirt game days...

and most recently I PVR the game and will not watch until I have 30 minutes of buffer.

My Family leave me locked in a room and don't bother me on Gameday...

Most of the time I consider myself a normal rational kind of guy but game days...

Go Cowboys :starspin

no. But the only Cowboy gear i now wear on Gameday is my Reebok Cowboy sideline cap and it has nothing to do with the fact that I began doing that when we beat the Saints

By all means keep doing what you do if it works for you. I just don't get in to it.

I wish I could get out of it :bang2: but then I wouldn't be doing my bit!

Let me tell you something, I live in Jersey across from Philly. My in-laws are all Eagles fans. Whenever my mother-in-law shows up before a Cowboys/Eagles game they have lost......Always. She knew this because I've said something to her and my wife about it. So last saturday what do you think happened? Yup, they all showed up in the morning to continue the "Jinx". It didn't happen for them this time.

Go get your hair cut, I am today. The Cowboys won't know we got our hair cut and feel a sense of Doom come over them. They won't feel you betrayed them by doing something different. If they lose you might as well look good.

I used to be more superstitious than I am now. But one thing that is worrying me is that I haven't watched a Cowboys game at my house since the loss to the Chargers. I'm debating on whether I should break the trend this weekend.

I used to think that superstitious thing worked, but, naw, not any longer...

Besides, I was gettin sick of a Big Mac Meal and a HUGE Pepsi every Sunday/Monday. And thinking I had to wear the same smelly jersey and shorts every week. Couldn't wash em of course.

Now, I crack a beer, #31 Williams Throwback Jersesy on and proceed to cheer or yell at my tv.

Good times.

My wife always has funny stuffed animals around the house. My friend and I turned them into Cowboys related good luck charms. We had the penalty pig, coffin corner punt penguin, among others.

That same friend's mom bought him a jedi robe to wear around the house for Christmas, and since then he's been wearing it on gamedays as the 'journey to the Super Bowl jedi robe,' and that's been good luck. :laugh2:

We're not really superstitious, just goofy, but it's on topic.

drinking beer during the game doesn't count as a superstition does it? ;)

I've had my Cowboys gnome in the same spot facing the tv for the last 2 wins. I will guarantee he will be in the same exact spot on Sunday. My son's friend is a diehard Vikings fan and he will be over to watch the game with his Favre jersey on. What I told him was to plan on having his a** match the color of his jersey after the Cowboys kicks their a**.

I'm not superstitious anymore!! Of Course, I have not worn my Romo Jersey this year.. I've stuck with alternating my Dorsett, Witten, Irvin, Lilly jerseys. At one time I didn't want to record the game..

I never bet on WVU or Dallas games. I don't really but anymore but when I did I learned not to bet on either team as it seemed I would always lose with those two.

Now I just don't predict the games. If I have a feeling they will lose I usually don't mention on the forum and the same if I think they will win. I just don't want to jinx it.

Now I know that is silly but I don't want to even test it.

So that is about as superstitious as I get for the games.

I no longer record the games. I began to observe a direct correlation to my recordings and cowboy losses. I also watch the games by myself or with my son ,however last week I had a friend over to watch the game and we won so I think I broke that one. But just to be sure, I will watch the rest of the games this year by myself

I also no longer wear cowboys gear on game days.

Drinking beer would be classified as a ritual :D

Not really, but right before the Saints game I put on my blue Romo jersey. It's a cheap screen printed jersey which I don't wear much as I have several better jerseys. I have now worn it every weekend during the game, and the Cowboys haven't lost since.

I'm not the superstitious type, but things like this get a person wondering sometimes.

Oh, and yeah, I'll be wearing the same jersey this Sunday.

Not really superstitious but every time a talk a bunch of smack to my friends and co-workers, Dallas gets beat. So I have been keeping my mouth shut the last couple of weeks.:laugh2:

I convinced my self that watching the games at my house was bad luck.

I usually work on Sundays but for whatever reason I witnessed our 1st and 2nd Giants loss at my home. As well as the Green Bay, and Chargers loss. I never have seen the Cowboys win at my house except for the two Philly regular season games.

After the last one, I decided that it was a silly thing to be afraid of.
