The defense keeps getting worse each week as players drop out and the book of Monte is passed from team to team.

An average defense against Seattle/San Fran, would get trounced. We might make it to the 2nd round and very slight chance we would get to the NFC champ game.

If this team wins another game, its more likely to cause more long term pain and suffering then a total collapse at this point. We need wholesale changes in management, coaching and players, We wont get changes in management period, so we are in for a long run of pain and suffering as it does not matter who is coaching or playing, Jerry's meddling will doom us to mediocrity at best and worse then the Commanders at worse.

An average D would not have blown a 20 pt lead, and given up 5 TD 's in a row.

Also, I'd speculate that an average D would have won the Detroit game, which would have us being division champs with the above note W in our column

The true problem with this team is on offense and it has been for years. I'm not talking about the players either, although the Oline needed help but its actually pretty good now.

We had decent defenses in the past and our offense always let us down. No different then this year.

I dont think it matters, when the defense plays well the offense sucks, when the defense plays bad, the offense is 50 50. When special temas play good, both sides suck.

Agree on what happened last year. Feel that an average D would have helped greatly in the Detroit game, as we MAY not have given up the game winning TD.
