suprise picks in the top 15

with the draft less than a week away who are draftee's you think will be a suprised top 15 pick? And were or what team you see picking them?

I think if locker isn't picked by the Commanders at 10 I think the vikings might pick him or ponder at 12. Ryan Mallet could be a suprise top 15 pick but his character concerns is going to scare alot of people.

I also think cameron jordan might be picked before Nick Fairley because of his versatility(sp?) and his clean off the field concerns.
people might not know this but cameron jordan reminds me of Julius Peppers in his size passrush ability, speed (both 4.7 guys at around 290lbs) and strenght.

I agree with Locker. I wouldn't be surprised if the Titans pick him either.

I think Tenn, Wash and Minn will have interest in him early on.

I'd guess Bowers would fall out of the top 10 in that case due to injury concerns.

Locker had a bad season overall but if you watched his final 4 games, he looked really impressive.

They needed to win their final 3 to be bowl eligible, they did that beating UCLA/CAL/WASH St. and then went to play Nebraska in a bowl game and upset them.

I think Locker is going to be erratic but he is such a great athlete, he would be a perfect fit for Tenn or Minnesota. Especially since all signs are pointing to Mallet being a colossal idiot and headache, there is no way Minn or Tenn wants to put up with a headache after dealing with Brett "will he retire" Favre and Vince "I take my shirt off in clubs while pouring liqour on myself" Young

I guess. Except Peppers was 265 coming out of college and he ran a 4.6 40. Pepper is also 6'7 while Jordan is closer to 6'3. Peppers is a true 4-3 DE, Jordan is more of a 5 tech (3-4 DE) or 4-3 DT. Otherwise I can see the similarities.

peppers ran a 4.68 and cameron jordan ran a 4.71 at 287....yeah they played different positions i'm just saying he could have an impact like peppers. If i was a 4-3 team I would be looking at him. He is so unique he can be used all over the d-line in a 4-3 but is basically a 3-4 DE but can slide inside in the nickle defense. He is a 3 down player. I think he can play 4-3 de also if he loose enough lbs (7) to play at 280 so he can be light on his feet (quicker) and dominate vs the run.

I like him over watt for some reason. I love watt numbers and all though but for some reason I think cameron jordan will be a probowler while watt will just be a steady guy.

Basically watt will be like spencer to us (steady but can be better, almost dominate at times) while cameron jordan will be like lamarr woodley (probowler who we wish we would of picked).

I do agree with the OP that I like Jordan more than Watt, just from what I've seen. Watt is good and you have to love his character, but he doesn't seem to play to his workout numbers.
