no delay of games, wasted timeouts, illegal motions, procedures, kill, kill, kills. Absolutely loving Dak running this offense. Romo needs to resign himself to the Drew Bledsoe role.

actually he was killing tons of plays and the play clock was down inside 5 repeatedly today.

but just go ahead and use whatever cover you want for your Romo hate. Hopefully it keeps you healthy or whatever.

I love Romo and I am not completely ready to write him off but I agree, it does seem like Romo overthinks the situation sometimes.

I don't hate Romo, I just think he's Danny White Jr.

Then maybe don't make a thread with a false premise to it because you didn't pay close enough attention during the game today.

Just make a thread that says Romo is Danny white Jr, then down your last drink high five your dog and get some rest, you will need it with all the romo hate you will be spitting soon.

That's just dumb agenda crap, none of those things happen when Romo makes late changes. You're thinking of Eli.

Been begging for this offense to play faster...play with better pace. Teams often don't do this because it tires the OL out. But you have a young OL....let them play fast and maul the DL. Just keep the defense off rhythm. Don't allow them to rest. Don't allow them to time the snap count and jump routes, gaps, etc.... I am loving this!

I agree with what the OP is saying, Dak is playing it differnetly. Keep it cool, know what you have to do, do it. Romo had the clock coming down, 3rd down was a problem at times, he needed a few drives to calm down. Dak is just different. No agenda, I love Romo, but Dak makes a few things calmer than Romo. thats all.

I noticed this too.

But I also thought of the negative implications of this too.

Our offense can be tumultuous to deal with as a defender.

In your stance for so long and then get run over. Stance forever. Run over. Stance forever, big reception to Dez.

It can lull you to sleep while bludgeoning you.

During the game one of the broadcasters stated we were the 3rd least penalized team so far this year.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.....you will see Zeke's game at a whole new level when Romo returns, and you will see more big plays down field in the passing game.

Dak has been fantastic, but no one know this offense better than Tony, and our terrific rookie QB does not read defenses better than Romo. Tony knows before the snap where to anticipate a possible receiver down field deep, and Tony will put Zeke into the secondary on more run plays. That's no knock on our rookie; it's just a fact.

On another note, while I love Dak's no int streak, I hope it's not stopping him from taking shots down the field....lots of big plays in preseason; now settling for lots of underneath stuff. No matter who the QB is, I think you have to take a shot down field now and then every game to loosen things up.

Boy is that the truth..

I notice we are having somewhat fewer false starts and offsides.

I think it's becuz DEZ is more decisive than Romo with what he wants. And just snaps the ball.

Romo puts too much pressure on his own team by doing what he does.

Of course Witten continues to jump offsides regularly..

But I think he's just losing his twitch with age..

No problem.
