Sure win, huh? Face it, this entire team (NOT ONE PERSON) played like crap

Before this week, people were coming out in droves, saying that this was a 'sure win', saying the Cowboys were definitely going 6-3 into the Indy game, and whatever else.

Nobody seemed to be realistic about the fact that this is a division rival on the road, and the Cowboys haven't been consistent in years. Sure enough, we lose. But the loss cannot be blamed on one person, this loss can be blamed on just about everyone.

* TO drops what would've put the Cowboys up by 14
* Roy drops a sure interception that goes right through his hands
* Anthony Henry got beat over and over and over
* Ridiculous amount of penalties
* No blocking on the field goal
* Ellis getting run right by on Portis's TD - he just isn't fast enough to be an outside linebacker

One of the few players that played very well this game was Romo. Infact he was one of the few reasons we even did as well as we did. He was accurate all day, was constent, and converted on a lot of 3rd downs.

Don't blame this loss on one person, though it is easy. Blame it on the entire team that played horrible. You can't continually give up opportunities and expect to win.

Oh, and fans, don't EVER assume that a game is a sure win. This is the NFL, anything can happen. Nobody expected Miami to beat Chicago today I bet.

Couple of other things....

We got a desperate team with two weeks to prepare.

We're in game two in a three game road trip.....

We were coming off an emotional game last week.

A ton of excuses, but nothing really matters.

We were better....or appeared to be better.

But we choked.

We did. Our defense was exposed today. Anthony Henry better get ready to defend a lot of passes in the future.

Hey buddy. Vandy sticks the kick and we win. Isht happens. One team gets heart broken every week. Why are we incapable of staying on an even keel.

TO catches the TD and we win. Roy intercepts that pass and we probably win. We don't go for 2 and we win.

That's my point - it isn't one play that cost us, it was little mistakes and missed opportunities the entire game.

It's been the same story for years.

Our middle is weak....on both the offense and the defense.

I don't know how much fault Henry was at.....We didn't get pressure...even when we blitzed.

I agree.

I hope this loss teaches this TEAM a lesson.

You are not that good. Really. You are not as good as you think you are.

Coach Johnson tried to suggest that Terrell Owens was the reason this whole team wasn't focused. No, he is a symbol of it.

We have several others who do not play smart and have missed key opportunities.

Why is it that many FG blocking teams don't choke on a play that should be rote memory?

I don't believe in curses, but this one made me think.

There is not a sure win the rest of the season. We could lose each and every game. That's what you get when you go with a young guy at QB. Except when the Pats got lucky with Tom Brady. That type of thing rarely ever happens.

Yep I agree, it was a team loss, with the exception of Romo, Jones, and Barber, thats it though. But I'm convinced we are going no where with Parcells as head coach.

But it wasn't the QBs fault. Like I said, he was one of the bright spots all day. It was the rest of the team that collapsed.

I've often heard people say that a team played "down" to it's level of competition, well I think that was the case for us today. Sloppy execution and penalties caught up with us today!

That "young guy at QB" was not a factor. He's a big reason we were in the game at all. 24/36,284YDS,2TD...and poise under pressure that can't be measured.

He was a part of it just as much as anyone else.

BS. Julius Jones and Marion Barber ran hard and well all game. Romo nearly single-handidly beat Washington late. Patrick Crayton made several HUGE catches. Jason Witten made several HUGE catches. DeMarcus Ware played his best game of the season. Our D-Line dominated at the point of attack and shut down their run game.

MANY, MANY people played well today

I don't mean literally the entire team played poorly, I mean that it was a collection of mistakes by many players on the team that led to us losing.
