If I ran this draft. Cowboys trade down to 26 with Cleveland, who moves up to snag Mike Evans, who is still sitting there. They give up their extra 3rd and 4th round picks to get it done.

1) Calvin Pryor, FS, Louisville
2) Scott Crichton, DE, Oregon State
3) Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss
3) Telvin Smith, LB, Florida State
4) JaWuan James, OT, Tennessee
4) Caraun Reid, DT, Princeton
5) Trai Turner, OG, LSU
7) Logan Thomas, QB, Virginia Tech
7) Jay Bromley, DT, Syracuse
7) Trey Millard, FB, Oklahoma

I like this although I wouldn't draft Thomas.

I am in agreement on Logan Thomas he is a TE waiting to happen never has had the accuracy or precision for the QB spot. So I would substitute Jeff Janis WR at that pick.
I have a problem with Telvin Smith not the player just what position would he play on the team, would rather have either of the Jordan boys Tripp or Zumwalt at that selection.
Like the extra 3rd and 4th rounders.

Don't think we should go safety in the first. Crichton should get picked between our first two picks. I can't see him lasting to our second round pick. That would be great though. Telvin Smith is a baller but a little light. It's a tad worrisome. Would rather have the guy from Montana. I rather have Mewhort than James. I do love the trade scenario. Good stuff

I love everything about it besides Pryor. I don't think he's the coverage 1st type of FS we need. Give me Ealy in the 1st and Terrence Brooks in the 2nd and its perfect for me

Don't we have like 15 7th round picks? You wouldn't spend one on Thomas?

Maybe but we won't have too many 7ths after the first two days IMO. But I could certainly be wrong. Either way I wouldn't draft him unless he wants to play another position.

I might take a flyer on Shaw late but I'd probably pass looking at any defensive position, offensive players who had fallen, scout pet cats who'd been vetted by the coaches, WRs, RB and yes, even a TE.

I'm liking this literally and figuratively. He could be a QB with a lot of work assuming his head can receive the training. He's a project although I'll admit he could be a late bloomer and that is what will boost his stock. That and the numbers. It won't be the accuracy or the decision making.

I see him as a move TE and if he has decent hips and can run a route that's where I'd put him from the start. He wouldn't like that.
