Sacks: Dallas is tied for 6th with 21 through 6 games. The teams ahead of Dallas (as well as those they are tied with) have all played an extra game. While it's extremely unlikely they could catch Jacksonville in the 7th game (33 now after 10 yesterday), they are on pace for 2nd in the league.

Forced Fumbles: Dallas currently leads the league in forced fumbles with 12 (securing 5). Unfortunately, they are near the bottom of the league with only 2 interceptions.

You'd have to think the increased pressure, especially Demarcus Lawrence, would force QBs to start putting some balls up for grabs, but these DBs seem allergic to the ball.

I was proud that Scandrick actually hung on to that INT (which would have counted, if Garrett has challenged it). Brown also made a good play on the ball. And we all know Jourdan Lewis can do some great things.

With all this extra pressure our DLine is getting, I think the INTs will start coming as well. Just don't expect any of them to come from our stone hand safeties.

The oddity is that we all thought if we could get to the QB finally, we'd put together a pretty good D.

We can now get to the QB but the defense is arguably worse than last year's. Bizarre.

I don't know that it would. The rule states two feet down and his second foot hit his first foot down. I guess it's all how that is interpreted. Does his first foot on the ground count as part of the field or is literally two feet down?

True. You're right. I already forgot that his second foot came down on top of his other foot before he fell out of bounds.

Me and my bad memory. But at least he held on to the ball haha

Well, good for the D with those stats, but they they couldn't make a play to stop AR, and couldn't tackle against the Rams, too many open players too....both losses....wins and losses are what counts, not leading in sacks....

We really need Awuzie to be getting snaps. I wouldn't be surprised if he passed Brown for a starting spot after a good bit of live action. Even just in certain packages, he'd be valuable.

Fumbles are solid though. And the DL is just going to improve.

I'd have to think as the DL keeps getting pressure we'll start picking some off. Maybe when they finally supplant Heath with Woods.

I thought it was funny when I saw posters calling OS an idiot and a low iq player because his second foot landed on top of the other when he was landing.

As if OS caught the ball and landed the way he did on purpose so the INT wouldn't count

Hey, you can't have your cake and eat it too!! Lol. The Safety's are still killing this team IMO.

Tackling is still a problem for this team.

After last year, being on track for 53 sacks blows my mind. We’re 17th in total yards which means we’ve given up fewer yards and knocked more QB’s down than the vaunted Eagles D. We’re 12th in rushing defense and are tied for 4th having given up three TDs on the ground. We’re actually 14th in pass defense, which surprised me. Washington and Philadelphia are 18th and 29th, respectively.

I know. It's like we sacrificed run defense and pass defense somehow in order to do it.
