I'm encouraged by Swaim thus far. He's smaller and slower than Witten was when Witten was drafted. I think Witten actually ran a 4.6 something at the combine when coming out of Tennessee. But, he's certainly faster today than Witten was when he retired. He seems to be getting open a bit and getting decent yardage.

I had no expectation of him being better than Witten. None. But, if his progress continues, I think he can be an average TE.

I think Jarwin has been awful. I haven't seen anything from him that would put him in front of Rico.

I haven't seen enough of Rico yet to have any feel for him. When he gets the ball, he's a big man to bring down.

I haven't paid any attention to the three in the blocking department. So, input into that area of their games would be awesome.

6 games into the year, what is the TE prognosis for the Cowboys?

Witten may have ran a 4.6 but he's never been fast. Swaim's speed is fine IMO. Rico is fine. I always felt like Jarwin should've been cut anyway. Schultz can't be as bad as him.

I am about the same with the blocking, jist don’t know and I watch other things besides the TE for blocking.
I always thought Swaim would be decent for us once given the chance and he gets some games under his belt.
Now just need to see more of RIco. He needs more snaps to see.

I thought going into this season, Karwon would be better than he has shown. But so far he has not been doing very well.
Schultz though he has been inactive, I thought he never should have Ben drafted. But time will tell.

I think next year in the draft, if a TE is there they will pick one in the top 3 rounds. But hope they do not reach for one. We have bigger needs.

Swaim shows the most promise. Rico is Meh & Jarwin is just a body taking a roster spot. All 3 combined can't replace Witten though.
