Williams was released after Detroit traded for Snacks. I think Dallas should bring him in for a look. He played in Denver with Ware and if I'm not mistaken won a Superbowl that year. Nothing like adding another piece to the DT spot and would have added depth with a guy that has experience if needed to start.

I'd rather they traded for Harrison when he was available. A 5th round pick was a steal for a guy who can clog the middle and get pressure on the QB.

NYG was not going to trade him to us.

Obviously I don’t know that for sure..but unless we were going to pay significantly more, I highly doubt they would help us out and have to play him twice a year.

I grudgingly admit Woods and Irving is probably one of the more under-rated DT tandems in the NFL. However I still let Irving walk and hope Collins and Woods can stay healthy in 2019.

Yup...that was a steal for the Lions. Don't like the contract...I think he's still owed a lot of money...but that was exactly what the Lions needed...a Vince Wilfork type NT. Watch out for the Lions...I can see them getting hot.

If you can improve the depth of your roster than I see why not. We don't have to choose between TE or DT. We can bring in both. Defense is our strength, Woods has battled injuries, Irving battles suspensions, Collins battles injuries, Ross has had injuries as well.

Sylvester was the target when we settled for Freddie. The air went out of the room when Denver took him before us. .....coaching cursing and looks of dejection all around.........and then Jerry figured out a solution to the problem. No more live war room cam while Dallas is on the clock.
