Brandon Williams 10-yard time of 1.61 is impressive.

Nick Williams of Samford is a really impressive athlete (4.87 forty at 309 lbs, long arms, big hands, best vert on the list).

On a side note, can't believe how well Datone Jones tested.

Interesting guy to me. He looked that good at the Senior Bowl but not so much during the year for UCLA.

He doesn't have youtube footage like many of the top guys for whatever reason. Don't know if it was scheme or injury but he looked stellar at the Senior Bowl practices and obviously is a physical freak.

Would be cool to hear a UCLA fans take.

I like Jessie Williams better then I like Sly Williams.
I like Sly better for Dallas. He can play DT1 or DT3.
I would have like Jesse in the 3-4 ok though.

But will he? I don't like the fact that Sly doesn't really like to stop the run. He likes to rush the QB but he seems real disinterested in playing the run on a lot of occasions.

Thanks.

I actually like the disagreements because you present reasons for your opinions. I might not agree with the reasons, but as long as someone presents some type of reasoning and not just hyperbole, then the discussion has value.

A lot of issues with players get flushed in the disagreements.

Why are you guys talking about 40 times for DT when their 10 yard splits are available for at least some of them.

Star ran the 10 at 1.89. Shuttle 4.63. 3 cone 7.79. 30" vert. 8'9" broad 38 reps

Richardson 1.68 4.59 7.33 32" 9'8" 30

Williams 1.72 4.8 7.93 26" 8'6" 27

The athletic gap between Star/Richardson and Williams is a chasm as opposed to the difference between say Williams and the next in line.

Richardson is a rare athlete. A very rare athlete. Star is a step below but the power gap is obvious.

Stats are nice if it used to in conjunction with what is actually going on on the field. Floyd, Richardson and even Williams are good 3 tech DTs but Lotulelei is a more suited to the 1 or 0 technique but was producing like a 3 technique DT - he was just on another level on the field. Before the combines, there was talk of Lotulelei going #1 and consensus top 3.

Lotulelei was absolutely destroying players and blocking schemes.
