LVE went out early with a neck and that had a noticeable impact on the defense. Defense was bad overall. Armstrong and Wilson got hurt.

Trevor Lawrence slipped out of several would-be sacks and threw a bad INT, but played really well for most of the game. He's going to be a good QB. He fumbled the ball with around three minutes left and Parsons recovered, which should have ended the game, but the offense went three and out and gave Jax the ball back.

Tyron Smith played RT well. Parsons got a sack. Pollard played well. Elliott played well and had a monster blitz pickup on a TD pass I haven't seen anyone discussing.

Kelvin Joseph was not good and gave up yards and a TD he got punked on. The DTs were not good. Anthony Barr was noticeably worse than LVE.

Dak threw a terrible INT in Jacksonville territory on a ball he just airmailed a mile over Schultz.

Moore's playcalling was completely atrocious on occasion. He did throw in a neato gadget play to Noah Brown though.

3rd and 4 in OT. Dak slips out of the pocket and hits Noah Brown on a low throw. The ball bounces off his chest and into the hands of a defender who runs it back to end the game with a TD. Noah was having a really nice game until that moment.

That's about it, normally I watch the highlights but I'd rather forget this game happened.

great synopsis

Went to watch the game and my trusty VCR didn't record the game. First time in 18 years.

Quick rundown other than Messrs Prescott, McCarthy, Quinn, Moore et. al. suck would be appreciated.

Thanks

VCR eh?

Well, here's what I know what to do with a VCR...

Look up Cinemax in your TV Guide on Friday.

Decide to record some crappy movie at 9:30pm

Don't set a stop time and set to a 4 hour record.

Congrats, the next morning you've got Cinemax Friday After Dark films recorded and you can just skip the bad early movie to get to the good parts.

The team basically did the equivalent of the old dog pooping the bed line. I was going to provide easy to understand pictograms but even I get in trouble with Reality sometimes so I gotta be a good boy,

VCR is the only way we can watch videos of when the cowboys were actually a force...Dvds and blu ray era, not so much.

Thanks for the humor n support? If it works it s works. In my day you didn't throw out something that still works...money doesn't grow on trees.

Hard part is finding the blank tapes. Several years ago I got a friend to order a box of tapes off the internet on ebay where she had access. Guessing they were made in a small back room in china since 2 of them shredded after first run.

Grew up with 16 inch b&w with rabbit ears...got 4 channels...2 pretty clear most of the time...one snowy to very snowy depending on cloud cover and 1 hit or miss. It lasted 18 years...even if you had to hit the side the last few years to bring the tubes back to life. Life in the rural 50's n 60's n 70's. Tin foil helped sometimes. Folks who know what I'm talking about can relate. After the b&w...had a 13 inch Goldstar COLOR tv with rabbit ears for 14 years until it finally quit. That covers 32 years of tv watching. Habits are hard to break...its all in what you get used to.

Anywho...guessing I gotta bury the VCR at the end of the day.

Thanks for the banter.
