This is huge if both star receivers on each team are out in this game (moss and glenn).....we are definitely going to struggle now.

The reason this doesn't worry me? Because he played such a secondary role in the game last week.

I love Terry Glenn, probably moreso than any Cowboy right now, but he and Romo don't share "it," which was painfully obvious last week. Bledsoe loooved stretching the field (only actually happened maybe a handful of times per game) and doing little else, and he found Glenn on those every single time - without fail. Romo spreads the love around a little more - it makes Glenn seem less important.

It seems to me that TG isn't nearly as good as the rest of the receivers on the roster when it comes to breaking off routes and deviating from the plan. He is a crisp route runner and will be on time in any given route, but when Romo scrambles he seems to have problems picking soft spots and settling into them. Unfortunately for him, this is probably TO's greatest strength, so it takes away from his catches.

I love TG and hope he continues to do great things, but I don't expect a whole lot out of him anymore. He was streaky as it was.

Glenn can burn teams deep and we already have plenty of short and intermediate receivers. If he can loosen up enough to retain his speed, he should play. But it won't cost us a whole lot if he doesn't IMO. We just lose the deep speed route. But if Hurd seconds TO, then is it Crayton who would cover for Glenn? and who would get the slot?

This would have been a good spot for Rector, more like TG's style. Austin is a burner if BP will give him a shot.

Nice to have youth depth but we will miss TG's vtran savy if he does miss this game.

I think he sits if the "official" word from the COWBOYS STAFF is in fact "game-time decision". For all we know this could be Ed Werder's opinion on Glenn's status. We'll see...

Glenn's absence would certainly change how the Skins play their coverages. Dont think it makes that much difference on the scoreboard however as I expected a dogfight any way.

Nothing good about Glenn being out. Teams respect his speed and that helps the rest of the offense.

Get them thinking they have to prepare for Glenn than surprise them with Crayton & Hurd. I like it!

If you ask me too much of a coincedance the week right after Bledsoe loses his job. And let's think back to the exact moment Bill had enough with Drew.. He was throwing to Glenn on a play specifically designed for TO that resulted in a goalline INT. How do we really know this wasn't the two of them going over Bill's head and not just Drew's decision? Perhaps Bill has just had enough of this going behind his back crap and also blames Terry just as much. Maybe Bill is starting to think it's time to battle-test another young player. First he's involved in a play which totally irrates the coach, then he's blabbing off in the press about being #1, when all along Bill is expecting behavior like this from "the Player" and never expected it to come from this way. Maybe Bill is entirely seeing this? Maybe Terry sees this, too, and decides to just start complaining about his 'lil arm'. Bill says, get your crap together, and just leaves it up till game time to see if he does.

Terry's not the same guy when he's playing through an injury.

There's no replacing the dimension he add's to the offense but if it's a case of him not being 100% out on the field I'd just a soon we keep him out so this doesn't nag him throughout the season. Bottomline the receiver we need is a healthy Terry Glenn ... and we need him for more than just one game.

You're theory isn't even close to the level of the grassy knoll conspiracy. It's just ********.

But, then again. You just seem to be like one of those fans of other teams who is infatuated with the Cowboys and are pretending to be one the latter team's fans because...well, I have no idea. It's just ********.

And than again his injury could be legit.....

This is football, not The young and the restless eventhough the media tries to make it that way. Save that for WWE.:suxskins:

This guy (in any of his guises, I like "Trophy#6 best) ) has such an extreme TG hate (altho funny as hell) that it HAS to be personal.

Either Terry banged his wife or he himself banged AB :laugh2:

Let's not risk a long-term injury to TG. We will need him for the rest of the season.
